Agree, Jecca. The baking soda has been great, but it is not a quick

fix (just like anything). Drowsiness is the strongest die-off symptom

that I experience with the BS. I can really tell that it is working

well because there are times where I become extremely drowsy. I mean,

it will just all the sudden hit me throughout all kinds of different

time periods in the day - eyelids VERY heavy - I have to close them

briefly and just sort of fall into this daze of sleepiness. But it

isn't difficult, oddly. I almost feel euphoric from it. It's this

feeling of 'yesss, die-off... it's working... I'm beating the

candida... ahhhhh.'

I also know it's working because shortly after taking it I get the

ever popular depression, brain fog, anxiety, panic combo; However, it

isn't as intense and intolerable as the other antifungals that are

very high in salicylates (coconut oil and oil of oregano). I've

accepted that because of candida and my terrible bacterial flora

status, that I am very chemically sensitive, and I do best when I

avoid foods high in salicylates. I need to work with antifungals that

pack a whollup against candida, but don't stimulate my chemical

sensitivity, so I stick with garlic and of course the sodium

bicarbonate. Perhaps after I've healed from candida well enough, my

chemical sensitivities will decrease, or go away and I can tolerate

items like coconut oil and oil of oregano.

On the other hand, I also agree with you regarding how the increased

sodium has helped with adrenal fatigue. I think it is benefiting me

similarly.
