Guest guest
So, what does this sentence mean: Little girls should get age-appropriate information and with-holding it > because you deem it ridiculous is your personative.< Is that not hostile?? -- Re: Re: Should the HypoT sufferer give birth > ealier than other people? > > Little girls should get age-appropriate information and with-holding it > because you deem it ridiculous is your perogative. > Sure wouldn¹t be fun to be out with your little friends and start bleeding > between your legs with no idea why. > > If menses can start at 8 or 9, that¹s when kids need at least the basics. > Nothing heavy duty ‹ just a simple explanation that girls have this happen > > sue >

Guest guest
Nancie, Not at all hostile. You are coming at me with attitude so you will spin it how you need to. Lively debate? Maybe. .. but really, actually, no. It¹s just a simple, direct statement that age-appropriate information SHOULD be given to girls about their menses. You were the one who said, ³ Can you imagine what is like to try and explain to a 6 -8 year old what a menses is and everything that goes along with that? Little girls should not be having periods- they should just have to worry about playing and having fun. ³ That sure sounds like withholding information to girls SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU think they should be playing instead of getting age-appropriate info about their menses. It¹s really that simple. Guest guest
Hmm, that comment was to show how incredible it is for US- healthcare providers that are now faced with 6 and 7 and 8 year old girls developing their menses. It was not a belittling statement at all and for me it is mind boggling that you could interpret it that way. This how all of us providers feel- that little girls should not be getting their menses that young and then have to worry about it every month. Kids that age should not have to have to worry about issues like that. Just imagine sleep overs and camp outs- having to plan for your period at that young of an age. Plus, the teasing from other kids that will happen because kids can be very cruel to each other when one kid is different. -- Re: Re: Should the HypoT sufferer give birth >> > ealier than other people? >> > >> > Little girls should get age-appropriate information and with-holding it >> > because you deem it ridiculous is your perogative. >> > Sure wouldn¹t be fun to be out with your little friends and start bleeding >> > between your legs with no idea why. >> > >> > If menses can start at 8 or 9, that¹s when kids need at least the basics. >> > Nothing heavy duty ‹ just a simple explanation that girls have this happen > >> > >> > sue >> > > >
Guest guest
I am just a very literal person. I believe people mean what they say and say what they mean. Sometimes I get it wrong. No harm or malice intended.
