Guest guest
Yes it was. My mom got hers at 11 in the 30s and I got mine in 1969 at 11. You usually get when your mom did. My daughter got hers at 11 also. sue On 9/10/08 12:06 PM, " Sam " <k9gang@...> wrote: > > > > Perhaps now, but not in the 1950's/60's... > > Sam >
Guest guest
When does a girl usually get her first period? In the United States, the average age is 12. This does not mean that all girls start at the same age. A girl can start her period anytime between the ages of eight and 15. Guest guest
The ³average age² is 8 to 15. 8 + 15 = 23/2=11.5 So anyone who got theirs from ages 8 through 15 are Normal AND Natural. Guest guest
Early menses now is 9 years old. And precious puberty is now considered at 6 years! I have a friend who works at children's hospital and they are seeing young kids as young as 6 years old- getting their period. It is from all the hormones in the livestock feed, plus the environmental toxins.I had several patients that experienced precious puberty at 7 years. -- Re: Should the HypoT sufferer give birth ealier than other people? Guest guest
It depends on when you get your breast buds. Guest guest
It is true... Plus add environmental toxins -- Re: Should the HypoT sufferer give birth ealier than other people? I have read speculation [newspaper stories] that children now get such a quantity of hormones from things like beef that the menses now start early from that cause. Or perhaps it was in some other manner. If that is true then I would suggest that early menses caused by ingestation of hormones fed to livestock are unnatural. Natural menses would be those not artificially changed, either purposefully or accidentally, due to the diet of the young lady. .. .. > > Posted by: " eastodurango@... Guest guest
----- oh! they didn't have hypoT? based on what? TSH? hey that would have been me, and also why MR peeps do not get treated for congenital hypoT. peeps with iodine deficiency will have very low TSH b/c the NIS is " asleep " . Gracia But, not all kids who get precocious puberty have hypo T. In fact none of the patients at children's hospital have Hypo T. Plus. My patients did not have Hypo T. Guest guest
also endocrine disruptors. early menses is a symptom that the subject is under stress, so needs to reproduce as soon as possible (b4 expiring!) Gracia I have read speculation [newspaper stories] that children now get such a quantity of hormones from things like beef that the menses now start early from that cause. Or perhaps it was in some other manner. If that is true then I would suggest that early menses caused by ingestation of hormones fed to livestock are unnatural. Natural menses would be those not artificially changed, either purposefully or accidentally, due to the diet of the young lady. . . > > Recent Activity a.. 6New Members Visit Your Group Meditation and Lovingkindness A Group to share and learn. Guest guest
Odd, most of female hypos I know -self inclded - menstruate seldom - sporadically and sometimes don't without medical intervention. Most are ver late onset starters - my own case at 14. DS Re: Re: Should the HypoT sufferer give birth ealier than other people? One book I read had the theory that since anti biotics have been around the hypothyroid population has exploded. Normally these people would have historically perished from infections or early heart disease, but they are now living and having children. They also self select and marry other hypothyroids (fellow couch potatoes) and have very hypothyroid children. One of the classic symptoms of hypothyroidism is early menses. http://www.thyroid-info.com/articles/menstruation.htm *http://tinyurl.com/5u4yvq Neil * wrote: > --oE6ssCFbkpAFu1S6io6Uno5CqoMv892lIe9nZoM > Mime-Version: 1.0 > Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 > > I guess that's what I read too. Guest guest
Little girls should get age-appropriate information and with-holding it because you deem it ridiculous is your perogative. Sure wouldn¹t be fun to be out with your little friends and start bleeding between your legs with no idea why. If menses can start at 8 or 9, that¹s when kids need at least the basics. Guest guest
Gracia, Do you ever treat anything else with anything else? Do you use iodine for a headache? Do you take armour for a stomach flu? If you had serious heart problems would you just treat it with armour and iodine? I am trying to understand if you are doing whole-body treatment or just iodine and armour and attribute all ills, ailments and death to under-treated thryoid?
