Guest guest
Hey Eastofdurango (sorry did not identify your name in your post) Your post begins with " No offense, but with your philosophy if you stepped on a rusty nail are you going to spend time trying to find out WHY you stepped on the rusty nail or are you going to treat your wound FIRST? " ... I think you are being very argumentative. Your rusty nail example is simplistic and designed to make an argumentative point. A rusty nail is not a disease, its an traumatic event. But I think you know that. In my previous post I clearly did not write that anyone should not take care of themselves as they see fit, nor did I suggest anyone should not treat their symptoms. I just expressed my opinion. I don't see why you should be arguing with me. Also I don't understand why you respond to me with a list of conditions that lead up to thyroid malfunction, did you mean to write some of the causes for hypothyroidism? Its common knowledge that hormonal imbalances and other glandular malfunctions lead up to most thyroid problems. But what causes those hormonal imbalances, what causes glands to malfunction for some people while others remain healthy? That would be good to find out. Any way I did not get your point other than showing off to shut me up. I already made my point and expressed my opinion earlier hoping to hear some information on the issue, to get into an ego directed argument here is pointless, I think. Perhaps you don't think I'm entitled to my opinion and that to suggest a different point of view is some how wrong. Sorry to hear that. Om shanti, namaste. PS. I would wear shoes around rusty nails!
