Guest guest
Hello, my name is Ben and I'm a father of seven. I found out about vaccinations about 7 years ago and now I'm totally against it. Most of my children are A.D.D. except for my 20 month old boy and he hasn't been vacinated once..he has no birth certificate and no soc. no. le <FlutterbugDBA@...> wrote: Hello, everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself... My name is le. I'm a 28-year old newly licensed massage therapist, birth doula, and mommy. My son will be 2 in May. I've learned that I am happiest when I'm living my life as naturally as possible. Of course, that's easier said than done. But it is a big reason why I did not want to vaccinate my son. However, I didn't research the issue before was born and he had his first few round of shots. I hated it but felt like my hands were tied. (My husband is all for doing what the majority feels is best for our son.) I knew no one would take me seriously if I refused the shots because it didn't feel right to me. Within days of Aidan's 4-month shots he developed diarrhea. I knew it was time to start my research. I wanted some information to back up my feelings before his 6-month checkup. btw- the diarrhea went on for almost 6 weeks. The doctors didn't seem concerned. They blamed my diet. And he did get better when I cut out dairy and wheat. But the damage was done. If you look back at his growth chart, you can see his weight plateaued after 4 months. He'd been growing well until then. But by his 12-month check he had falled off the charts. Anyhow, he's doing great now (altho his weight is still on the low side for his age). But he doesn't get sick much (he was just on antibiotics for the first time ever last month. the doctor on call was surprised he hadn't needed them before 20 months.) And developmentally he's average or above in most things. The issue is that my husband does not agree with my position. He is pushing me to reconsider. He's worried Aidan will get sick. And we're both concerned about the legal issues when he's ready for school. He thinks it would just be better to vaccinate and get it over with and not have to worry about it anymore. So I'm looking for information to counter my husband's concerns. And I need to know that what I'm doing is right for my son. I obviously don't want to harm him or make him an outcast. (My husband envisions Aidan being excluded from activities because he's not immunized.) I look forward to some passionate discussions! Guest guest
....oh, and he is very strong, in fact, too strong so I'm thinking of vacccinating him to stop his rapid growth...just kidding. ben jackson <cranium_stretched@...> wrote: Hello, my name is Ben and I'm a father of seven. Guest guest
le, I can totally relate to your situation with your husband. My husband battles me on everything! He's in with whatever the majority is doing also, regardless of the fact that I may have mounds of research suggesting otherwise. Very frustrating. Hang in there though. These are the battles I've won to date: not vaccinating, not circumcising, extednded breastfeeding, cosleeping, cloth diapering, and my latest venture, switching our dog to a raw food diet. Battles I've lost to date: not being able to homeschool. Don't give up on your husband!!! What did it for my husband in regards to the vaccinations was to bribe him with lots of sex to go to a live vaccinations seminar. It was only 1 1/2 hours long and they fed us, all for $5 I think. By the time we left, he was hooked. We've had a few more rounds about it here and there, but still never vaccinated. I know that a lot of those types of seminars are listed online, try doing a search for one. Where are you located?

Guest guest
the doctor on call > was surprised he hadn't needed them before 20 months> I think you will find your answer here! My children (age 11, 9 and 6) all completely non-vax and have NEVER had antibiotics! NOT EVER! They are healthy and happy children and I am doing my best to keep them that way. There is much information on this list and lots of great books, print some out and give to your husband to read. I don't know anyone who has researched the vaccine issue and then gone on to vax their kids! Kind Regards Debbie
Guest guest
, You go girl!! We do whatever it takes I guess My husband was not thrilled when I switched our dogs to raw, complained about the " salmonella all over the house " . When I treated one with Homeopathy for osteosarcoma, and he would see me tapping the bottle with the remedy in it he would roll his eyes and laugh about the " water " I was treating her with. When the final follow-up x-ray showed the tumor to be gone, his tune changed. I've actually even caught him talking to friends about feeding the dogs raw (now it's cool). So you're right - don't give up - they seem to come around eventually. Why it takes them longer I don't know....men - umppppff. Guest guest
I am also new to the group. I have never heard of no birth certificate or soc#. May I ask if this is common and the reason? Guest guest
Are you anemic because you don't eat enough things with iron, like red meat? or because there is something wrong with your body and it's processing? Guest guest
Personally I would switch doctors. Try a naturopath, they are much more open to listening to their patients. ________________________________ From: susansbook <susansbook@...> hypothyroidism Sent: Mon, November 16, 2009 5:18:06 PM Subject: Re: Hi. Guest guest
Well, the anemia is probably stemming from a few things. One are the uterine fibriods that I have causing such heavy bleeding every month, two, I don't absorb nutrients like I should. My family is celiac and I am most likely too, so I have started a gluten free diet and will see if that will improve matters. And three, I don't eat red meat at all. I very rarely eat meat of any kind. I am taking iron supplements now along with vitamin c to help with absorbsion. The doctor wants me to take 365 mg. of iron a day for two weeks, double that in another two weeks, and then add one more of those on top of that and maintain that for 3 months and have another blood test. I ought to be nice and constipated. :-( But the iron is so necessary because this anemia causes so much body pain and makes me run down like crazy, and so on and so forth... > > > > Hi everyone. I just did treatments with them and had a very good outcome! i am feeling much better and losing weight, i have more energy. Just wanted to let you guys know if you are interested. I'm leaving the group now cuz i'm leaving on a mission and need to shut down all these things while i'm gone. So, thank you for all your support, advice, help and conversation. Guest guest
You might already, but 1000 mgs of magnesium plus 1200 units of good fish oil should help you with the constipation. Of course plenty of salads veggies. Roni <>Just because something isn't seen doesn't mean it's not there<> From: susansbook <susansbook@...> Subject: Re: Hi.
