Guest guest
Hi Jackie, Thanks for responding. I have not been on the regular program bcz in order to keep my period, I must eat some carbs. I eat some almonds and brown rice. I just got the period back in September of this year. However, I have been having such problems with candida. I wonder if there is something else wrong because doctors always talk about thrush etc. Which I don't have. I have had problems for over 15 years. I am on the digestive enzymes and want to follow Bees program. Do I keep taking the enzymes until my stomach acid is up and then stop. Will the acid go back down with out taking them. Will this happen all in one day. With the 3 meals? Good luck to you. I wish you good health. > > " Flax oil isn't recommended because it goes rancid very easily and > the body needs to convert the omega-3 into a useable form which most > candida sufferers are unable to do. Guest guest
June, may I please ask that you trim your messages - see " Candida Group Info for how and why. Thanks a bunch. Also see my notes below. > > Hi Jackie, > Thanks for responding. I have not been on the regular program bcz > in order to keep my period, I must eat some carbs. I eat some > almonds and brown rice. I have had problems for over 15 years. ==>What makes you believe you must eat carbs to keep your period? Eskimo women had no problems with their menses even though they ate an all meat and fat diet, per Dr. Weston A. Price in his book " Nutrition and Physical Degeneration " . ==>If you have candida it is important that you cut out high carb foods such as almonds and brown rice, otherwise you are fighting a losing battle. > > I am on the digestive enzymes and want to follow Bees program. With the 3 meals? ==>Do you mean digestive enzymes or hydrochloric acid (HCl); even I misunderstood the term " enzyme " and thought that HCl was a digestive enzymes, but it isn't. I do not recommend taking digestive enzymes which are enzymes produced by the pancreas. Only take Betaine HCl tablets. Do you have an upset stomach or evidence that your digestion is poor? In any case take Betaine hydrochloric acid tablets during meals and as directed in the article " Digestive Enzymes, How to Take Them " in the " C) Digestion " Folder, starting with 1 500 mg capsule per meal and only gradually increase them, if needed, until you get a burning sensation in your stomach and/or your stomach gets upset; then take 1 less capsule the next meal and stay on that amount. When you stomach gets upset or burns drink this: 1/2 tsp baking soda in about 5-6 ounces of warm water. Bee
