Guest guest
Hi gang, OK - I know the drill - been doing it mostly good for a few months. However, I am now 7 weeks pregnant, and my body is going wacko on me! I have all the good foods around the house. I have them made and convenient to eat. I am often queasy, and often not hungry. When I do finally go to eat, I look in the fridge, and nothing is appealing. Salad used to be my favorite meal of the day (including 3 boiled eggs on the top.) Now I can't stomach the thought. I have a soup that I love to eat - but not anymore. I never had much of a problem with cravings, but now I really crave carbs! When I'm hungry and I go to the fridge to pull out some food, my brain checks off everything in the fridge. Internal dialog goes something like this: " salmon - yuck. meatball - yuck. soup - yuck. salad - yuck. egg - double yuck! " I close the fridge and walk away. 15 minutes later, I go through it again, only I'm weaker and feeling a bit queasy. What doesn't sound yucky to my brain are some fruits and/or carb foods. I know the answer - stick to the diet of course. But not much food is getting in! Oh, and don't get me wrong - I'm sitting here eating a rice cake. I just couldn't eat anything in the fridge! Thanks for any insight! Marla
