Guest guest
HI a, I am so sorry your husband doesn't understand what you are going through, it must make everything that much harder. That sucks. And I hate to bring you bad news, but when I cheat, I experience increased die off issues for as long as 3 weeks after. Cheating is never worth it to me. As always, do as much as you can to detox. Have you tried these yet (that I listed below) that Bee has in the files, the baths and the vitamins always help me some when things get really bad. Hope your pain becomes more manageable. Jecca If you are desperate, here's a good treatment when you get severe reactions or overwhelming die-off symptoms or healing reactions: * Drink clove or ginger tea — 4 to 5 cups within 5-6 hours. * Take an Epsom Salt bath. Take these all at once, except for 2,000 mgs of vitamin C, which is taken every hour: * 2 capsules of hydrochloric acid (preferably Betaine HCl with pepsin). * 4,000 mgs vitamin C is taken immediately, and take 2,000 mgs every hour until your symptoms subside (minimize), or until you reach bowel tolerance (loose stools), and then cut back on the amount taken. * Vitamin B complex 100 mgs, in addition your daily amount. * 500 mgs of niacin (if you can stand the flush; if you cannot stand the flush take at least 50 mgs every hour) * 10,000 IU vitamin A. * 400 IU vitamin D. Note: Vitamins A and D are available in cod liver oil or other fish liver oil capsules. --- " a K. Carlton " <kristina.carlton@...> wrote: I feel like I can't find solid ground here. Had my tooth (bottom left) extracted last Thursday and things were slowly getting better. By Sunday I had just mild soreness and the headache was almost gone. That day I cheated which I wish I hadn't because my headache was back the next day and also Tuesday. Yesterday I still had a headache and thought it was from the cheat. But I am still in pain today - headache, upper backache, lower backache, and a dull pain in my calves. Not only that, the extraction site is more sore, the crowned tooth above it has been bothering me since Monday, and another crowned tooth on the top right is bothering me, too. What is going on? We are going to Disney next Sunday and I don't know how I am going to handle walking around the Disney parks every day feeling like this. I just want to have one day without physical pain. I have had some pain every single day since June 15th this year and I feel like I can't deal with it anymore. I can't tell my husband because he already thinks I am a hypochondriac. I wondered if it's die off, but how does the toothache fit in and why only my crowns (they're not root canals). ==>Problems with your teeth will come into play because you've recently had one removed and have had many things done to your teeth in the past; this is because the body needs to re-trace and re-heal those areas. So you will get flare-ups of previous incidents. Pain also radiates to different areas. > I did do most of the detox things like baths, brushing, vitamins, etc. but I still feel pretty bad. Won't the vitamin C and niacin cause more die off? ==>No, vitamin C and niacin do not cause more die-off symptoms, they help alleviate die-off symptoms because they help the body detoxify better. I suggest you do the Vitamin C Flush - I think it is in our " C) Treatments " Folder. > Also, I am hesitant about taking HCl without eating. I am also not on the full supplement regimen yet because I wasn't sure I could handle it. ==>When your body is very toxic HCl without foods will usually not cause problems; also you wouldn't take HCl alone. HCL is taken along with the other supplements which helps digest those supplements too. This combination of supplements I recommend is from the " Brain Allergy " book by Philpott, but of course he recommends them for severe allergic reactions which we know are healing/detox reactions. If I mix it with baking soda is there a chance the baking soda could cause die off and therefore cause a headache? ==>Possibly, but the vitamin C will help you get through any subsequent die-off. Guest guest
Dear a, That's wonderful you are figuring things out on your own. That is very important when you are on a natural healing program. You can back off on certain things and have more control over your die-off symptoms so you can function better. It may take a little longer, but it is worth it to not suffer while on vacation. Well done a!
