, I hear ya' about the heat in the midwest. I live in Milwaukee, Wi.

It has been an

incredibly hot summer. The humidity is unbelievable and the hot flashes aren't

making it

any easier!! :( I wouldn't want to live anywhere else however. I love the

change of

seasons.

I would be interested to hear more about your results from going off the iodine.

Keep us

posted

whatever was going on at the base it was so close. My dad was Army; WWII - he

served in

the Aleutian Islands as a Radio Operator listening for Japanese communications.

Wish I had

asked him about it; I will never know as he is now gone.

30+ years in

the Midwest, which is hotter than you know what and more humid than the Pacific

Ocean. I

could never live in the South.

iodine

altogether to see what effect, if any it will have. So far nothing, but it has

been only a

couple of weeks. I am also trying a sleep restriction therapy to see if I can

re-set my sleep

pattern to a more normal one. My HC use was originally at 22.5 mgs. but I am now

comfortable at around 17.5 and less on some days, which I am quite happy about.

If I miss

a dose or it is late I no longer shake, so I am making progress that way - YEA!

here! I

hope to retire someday anywhere but the Midwest (except the deep South)!
