Guest guest
, I hear ya' about the heat in the midwest. I live in Milwaukee, Wi. It has been an incredibly hot summer. The humidity is unbelievable and the hot flashes aren't making it any easier!! I wouldn't want to live anywhere else however. I love the change of seasons. I would be interested to hear more about your results from going off the iodine. Keep us posted Venizia > > Fort is near Tacoma; my Mom lived in Fircrest and we could hear the planes, etc.; whatever was going on at the base it was so close. My dad was Army; WWII - he served in the Aleutian Islands as a Radio Operator listening for Japanese communications. Wish I had asked him about it; I will never know as he is now gone. > > I live in Chicago, but grew up in the PNW; miss the mountains still after 30+ years in the Midwest, which is hotter than you know what and more humid than the Pacific Ocean. I could never live in the South. > > Still holding at 6 grains; am doing an experiment on myself; cut out the iodine altogether to see what effect, if any it will have. So far nothing, but it has been only a couple of weeks. I am also trying a sleep restriction therapy to see if I can re-set my sleep pattern to a more normal one. My HC use was originally at 22.5 mgs. but I am now comfortable at around 17.5 and less on some days, which I am quite happy about. If I miss a dose or it is late I no longer shake, so I am making progress that way - YEA! > > C. > In hot and steamy Chicago, IL - if you are fond of a steambath climate, live here! I hope to retire someday anywhere but the Midwest (except the deep South)! > > http://catherineshypohelljourney.blogspot.com/ > http://www.youngliving.com - essential oils for healthy living > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com > cccquilter53@... > Embroidery from the Heart > http://Embfromtheheart.etsy.com > When we cannot do anything, when we are not able to move, > and when we have no strength, that is the time to trust in and > enjoy the supply of God as grace. > > > >
