I have been on full replacement T4 for several years but with no

prostate effects ... yet. I think if you are properly dosed, there

should be no causal connection from hypoT to prostate. However, both

prostate cancer and the medications for treating it are known to affect

the thyroid. Thus, you may have had the prostate problem first.

problems?

My question might not have been clear.

Have any men who have thyroid problems had any prostate issues? Any prostate

problems before starting your thyroid meds?

I was infertile from age 24 on, after a partial thyroidectomy and no

treatment.
