Guest guest
I've never understood the flu shot. There are so many strains of the flu, who knows which one you'll get. They only vaccinate against one. Not to mention the ingredients in those things. This is a good example The worst thing to me is the fact that sometimes they use human diploid cells (the dissected organs of aborted human fetuses as in the case of rubella, hepatitis A, and chickenpox vaccines). Just because you are vaccinated doesn't mean you won't get the flu anyway. There's no telling what vaccines do to our body that we don't know about. Once you get the flu shot your immune system is compromised so why risk it? -- Re: Bush To Veto Ban On Mercury In Vaccines It is recommended that pregnant women get the flu shot. What happens to the fetus when this go thru the mothers system? Is this why autism is becoming so prevalent? This was front page news in the Milwaukee paper. Guest guest
the flu shot is made to protect you against the 2 most deadly strains that are out there. the ones that will kill you. it is not going to cover the other flu strains that make you sick but still alive. that is a rumor that they use diploid cells from human fetuses. that is a LIE. they only use the DNA from the virus and remove a section of it to make it incapable of giving you the flu, but yet allows the human body's immune system to make antibodies against it and thereby Protecting the person. it does NOT weaken the immune system- by making that statement that shows that you have no idea about how the immune system works and how it reacts to foreign substances aka antigens. Guest guest
Oh really it's a lie? How can you be so sure? DOn't be gullable. If they didn't make these vaccine, the flu shot wouldn't be necessary. It does weaken the immune system. I've known people to get the shot and the next day had the flu. It makes your immune system more sensitive to other viruses as well. Maybe you don't know how the immune system works. They don't just remove DNA from the flu they add a bunch of crap to it too. -- Re: Re: Bush To Veto Ban On Mercury In Vaccines the flu shot is made to protect you against the 2 most deadly strains that are out there. the ones that will kill you. it is not going to cover the other flu strains that make you sick but still alive. that is a rumor that they use diploid cells from human fetuses. that is a LIE. they only use the DNA from the virus and remove a section of it to make it incapable of giving you the flu, but yet allows the human body's immune system to make antibodies against it and thereby Protecting the person. it does NOT weaken the immune system- by making that statement that shows that you have no idea about how the immune system works and how it reacts to foreign substances aka antigens. Guest guest
Welllllll, if you have already been exposed to the flu enough days ahead of the time you get the shot, you can get the flu, as it takes the shot 10 to 14 days or therabouts to begin working to protect you. Guest guest
Not sure this is entirely true. When you bypass the original way our bodies were meant to fight off disease, you do comprimise your immune system...it's about critical mass. When you overload your immune system, you become more susceptible to getting the flu. Vaccines overload the immune system, and make you mose susceptible to getting ill... Guest guest
What you are saying is not true. If a person was exposed to the flu, caught it and the incubation period had passed, it certainly would be possible to get the flu shot one day and break out with the flu the next day, because the flu shot is not effective right away. Guest guest
Wrong again, MIchelle, the flu shot cannot GIVE one full blown flu (of the variety for which the shot is being given). I repeat my initial post... If one has already exposed at time of receiving flu shot, the shot will not stop the development of the flu.... as it takes about 10 to 14 days for the your body to build an immunity to the flu bugs delivered in the shot. 10 to 14 days is way too long a time frame to stop what one had already have been exposed to prior to the shot. Sooooo - the shot isn't the culprit in that case, the prior exposure is. Guest guest
wrong again. you can't get the flu from the shot- the shot does NOT have a completely active virus (es) in it. when they make the vaccine they take out a section of the DNA of the virus that makes it incapable of GIVING you the flu but enables your body to produce antibodies against those strains so if you become exposed to those strains in the future -you will be PROTECTED from getting those strains that can kill you. Guest guest
what I am saying is that you can NOT get the flu from the shot Vaccine. the vaccine is not made from active flu strains- it has been altered in the lab making incapable of CAUSING the flu but still allowing the body to develop antibodies against it. of course you can get the flu from being exposed to another strain of flu prior to getting the shot BUT not from the shot. The shot covers just 1 or 2 of the deadly flu strains NOT the many other strains out there that will make you sick but will not kill you. Guest guest
only if you were pre-exposed to another flu strain between 5 to 10 days prior. it takes that long for the body's immune system to start to attack and for the symptoms of the flu to appear. Guest guest
not the flu they don't- but yes they can have serious allergic reactions to the vaccine. again allergic reactions are not the same thing as getting the " flu " Re: Bush To Veto Ban On Mercury In Vaccines It is recommended that pregnant women get the flu shot. What happens to the fetus when this go thru the mothers system? Is this why autism is becoming so prevalent? This was front page news in the Milwaukee paper. The article was enough to make me decide not to get my flu shot on Thurs. as I am scheduled. Venizia > > > > > > Mercury was used to fill teeth and was baned.
