However, I will also point out that at least a small percentage of hypothyroid patients do not seem to get relief from symptoms until the TSH is very close to zero. On this list that percentage appears much higher; but probably is not representative of the general population. There has also been speculation on this list that those who are without proper treatment for an extended periods may be among this group; and possibly may have other problems with conventional treatment. Since doctors are trained in conventional treatment getting help with unconventional treatment can be a frustrating process. Be aware that you can find a ton of information in the internet. Some of it is accurate, while some of it might harm or kill you.
