Like me, they find his clinic rather impersonal and intimidating. I am sure that he was a caring, hands-on doctor once, but money and fame can change a person. In the letter sent to his patients a few months ago, Hertoghe says that his research will eventually result in more books on hormone disorders and hormone therapy. My friend is his personal friend as well as patient and lets me know what he is doing. My former doc knew him too and said there is no one nicer or more hard working.
