6 meals a day

--- I agree 6 meals are hard to fit in, but just a protein drink is a

meal.. so I get those in easier than a small meal.

Atkins... tried it .. lost 20lbs but never felt so tired and gross.

Did not stay on it for more than a month. Then slowly gained my weight

back. Seems one piece of toast can cause the weight gain back.I didn't

exercise either though.,The awful greasy feeling in your mouth after

all that meat and butter still lingers when I see butter in the store.

I'd say 3 days a week I eat 5 meals a day and 3 days I eat 6 but when

I only eat 5 I omit a shake or MRB I never omit real food.

Hi Im Jack, I believe eating 6 small meals a day is the way to go and

is very healthy from a physical fitness stand point. Most candida

diets i have seen only explain it on terms off 3 meals a day any one

have any opinion on this?

Hi Jack. This is from my article " Not Recommended Treatments,

Supplements, Etc. " which is in our Files (after all of the folders):

" Snacking Between Meals or Eating Meals More Often than 3 per day:

Your body needs only 3 square meals per day, and some people do

better eating only 2 meals per day. Snacking between meals or eating

more often is not healthy. Your body needs that time to digest,

absorb and utilize the nutrients in a meal without having its

energies directed towards digesting more food. If you eat enough

food at mealtime, two or three times a day, it will sustain you until

the next meal. It is also important to plan meals according to the

correct ratio of proteins to fats to carbs – see the Candida Diet

Folder on how to calculate your ratios according to your height.
