Guest guest
Maybe I should be more clear. I was on T4 (under-dosed) with horrible headaches. I found this group, heard of Armour began taking it and w/in a couple of days my horrible headache was gone. SO it was a couple of days on Armour not a couple of weeks. Yes I was on too much, but that's because I thought 1 grain simply wouldn't do and took 3 instead. That was the reason for heart palps. cw -- Re: dr. finally called I have nothing against taking the Armour but it doesn't work instantaneously and there needs to be some patience, at least a couple of weeks or so. Renal failure is quite different from nourishing the kidneys, and new medications (except for Armour) need to be taken slowly to make sure she doesn't go into renal shutdown again. I'm curious Gracia. Why are you so insistent that everybody takes what you take and does what you do? Why are you so insistent that everybody is the same? Guest guest
Does she nap during the day? If she does, cutting out that nap will help her to be sleepier at a more appropriate time. Like bedtime. Step 2 was gettig rid of the heart palps from too much medicine, and step 3 will be to get better and better, and play it by ear] as you go along. You are in the best of all worlds. Guest guest
I didn't have the energy for that. When 7pm arrived my kids were in bed. Guest guest
yeah..I did that with my 3 boys who are 19,11,and 3 and they loved it.. little miss independent wants her own bed by herself..i think whats neat.my 19 will come in at 2 or 3 in the morn and lay across the bottoom of the bed and talk..and then either fall asleep or get up and run some more.. I'm sure there are ppl out there who will raise hell with me on this.. but my boys are secure, loving, strong willed, and independent even the youngest at 3 knows what he wants and i seriously doubt letting them sleep with us when they want to will cause any damage when they become adults.. joy Re: dr. finally called Joy the Armour dose is too low you will really need the Iodine youwill probly need adrenal meds too. hurry hurry Gracia Recent Activity a.. 10New Members Visit Your Group Get cancer support Connect w/ others find help & share FruitaBü Parents Healthy Eating Zone A parenting resource on . Guest guest
heart palps are usually from weak adrenals. I have taken too much Armour and just feel wired. 120mg used to be too much for me! Then I got cortef and some other hormones and went to 240mg in one week. Gracia Maybe I should be more clear. Guest guest
What I have is Atrial Fibrillation, where the top of the heart is beating much faster than the bottom. I've been taken to the ER by the EMT's twice now for it, and each time it took them well over 4 hours or so to get it converted to a regular sinus rhythm. That condition can cause a stroke or sudden heart attack and I really am not very willing to take too much of the substance they tell me is causing the problem. I was willing to test it out, and did, and sure enough, a bit too much and it starts. I have now changed to taking it with food, which does seem to feel better. The fluttery feeling only happened once since then, but not as strong as the others and I was able to get it converted myself after a whole day of taking the things they told me would work. I'm glad what you are doing is working for you, and I have to do what works for me. Roni Gracia <circe@...> wrote: heart palps are usually from weak adrenals.
