Hi

I am a Sydney person & have tried quite a few of the VCO's available -

Melrose(they have two different versions & the refined is gross. Some

jars have tasted great & some not so good- I found out that they buy

their product from different sources & at one point were importing raw

copra oil from Columbia which is awful stuff so it pays to research &

know the integrity of the product), Spiral(says VCO unrefined but it

has absolutely no fragrant smell & no taste at all so a little

questionable to say the least!), Nui(African Pacific's Nui oil comes

from a plantation in Fiji using a modified copra process and it is not

packed in a clear jar so you can't see how it looks. I found the taste

a little weird too, I thought it had a mild plastic taste & wondered if

maybe there was some leaching form the dark plastic jar?). Now I am

using 'NiuLife'(by Kokonut Pacific) & I can honestly say that it is my

my absolute favourite out of all of them. It is available in some

Healthfood stores(Go Vita I think) but I order mine online. The postage

is very reasonable & I received mine the following day which was great.

I bought two 750ml jars @ $23ea as the postage was $9 for one or $10

for two so I bought two. IMO I think the best way is to buy the 5ltr

for $120(especially if you are paying $80 for small jars from US!) & if

I remember correctly the postage is about $12. You can calculate the

postage at www.niulife.com without having to make a purchase. Also I

have had some email correspondence as well as a phone conversation with

the man behind the amazing company Dr Dan Etherington, an Agricultural

Econominist who years ago helped develop the DME(Direct Micro Expelling

Method)which produces pure VCO(certified organic) within one hour of

the coconut being opened. The best thing about purchasing this VCO is

that we are supporting some miraculous work that Dan & his team are

doing for many rural communities in Tropical Islands like the

's. He is a christian man & I encourge all members to have a

read through his website & I guarantee that you will feel as great as I

do in purchasing this beautiful & yummy product knowing that while we

are eliminating the 'Candida Monster' we are helping support Fair Trade

& impoverished communities who need our help & support.

Fortunately for non-Aussie members they have distributors in Canada,

US, UK, and Europe so people can buy their oil without the big freight

bill. The distributors contact details are in the green menu (under

Products, Outside Australia) but they also come up when you try to

order from those countries so all members you should have a browse &

see what you think.

Incase any of you are wondering... NO I have no association with this

product other than being a seriously happy customer with service &

product & just fell inlove with their whole plight & philosophy.

Hope this is of interest & helps!
