Guest guest
Thanks for your replies everyone. Thought I'd take the chance to ya'll in to my story a little bit. I have been on a very restricted diet for almost 8 months (which is basically Bee's diet, only I really limit my plant/veggie intake because they really exacerbate my IBS symptoms - I also do all the supplements Bee suggests) now and still have days where I experience basically horrific die-off. I've been using anti-fungals and coconut oil the entire time, on and off throughout the eight months. I take breaks when it seems like I'm going through too much die-off. I still also struggle with my dry eye condition, and I also still have many of the classic candida symptoms most every day, most notably crying spells, anxiety-type attacks, depression, lack of energy, a lot of IBS bloating/distension/abdominal discomfort and sometimes outright pain, brain fog, spaciness, ADD'ness, anti-social behavior, etc. The list could probably go on. I think I'm one of those that has had candida/dysbiosis issues since I was a baby (I was treated over and over and over with penicillin for ear infections), and my mom always used to say that I was ALWAYS with my bottle of APPLE JUICE. She said I just wouldn't part with it. So, I've been subjected to a high-carb. diet and antibiotics all of my life, except beginning with November of last year when I went cold turkey to very low-carb. I worked at restaurants a lot and was always stuffing my face with desserts, candy, jams, sugary milk shakes, etc., etc. I used to work at a dairy queen, so you can imagine what a Candida heaven that must have been. , I was eating cheese for a little while, feels like over a month ago, but really, whenever I eat cheese, it is for only a day or so at a time. I've been good at staying away from cheese for a good while now, and haven't had any cravings -- it toally bulks my stool because of the undigested casein, and causes, at times, painful bowel movements -- so I'm not looking to get into that again anytime soon. My main anti fungal is oil of oregano, and of course coconut oil, and the diet. Cheers everyone and best wishes to you all.
