> Hello Bee. I have been on a candida diet for about 10 months now

albeit not as strict as yours. I have seen great improvement but

not as much as I would like, so I've chosen to get very serious

about this. My dilema is digestion. I've done the baking soda test

for HCL. I get no reaction. I've tried taking the Betaine HCL

1300mg and Pepsin 90mg as you direct in your digestion files as much

as 8 pills per meal and still get nothing. I've done all kinds of

digestive enzymes in large amounts and notice no difference. As of

late I've been doing the fresh lemon with sea salt before meals and

this does not help and now my urethra is starting to burn.

==>Laurie, you say you are not strict with your diet like I

recommend so the first thing would be to get very strict with your

diet. What kinds of physical problems do you have, or what you are

trying to improve?

==>I suggest you not have lemon for awhile, and just have lots of

ocean sea salt on your foods. Until I understand more about your

problems I'm thinking you are too sensitive to lemons.

Thanks Bee. I hope I am replying correctly. (I'm not computer savy).

Yes! I will be strict with the diet as you recommend.

Originally I was strict in the first month just meat and veggies, then

I incorporated brown rice because I was losing too much weight. (20lbs

in a month down to 110. I also did quinoa a little nuts and seeds and

a rare vegetable like sweet potato but this really was the extent of

my cheating.

As far as my physical problems most of them are resolved with the diet

such as my FMS,Restless leg, insomnia, IBS. I truly feel like a new

woman.

What I am trying to improve is the digestion, constipation, thinking

more clearly,TMJ,and chemical sensitivities. The constipation is the

most annoying at the moment and I've tryed most of you constipation

remedies without success.

Thank you kindly,

Hannah

I had bad constipation and starting taking l-glutamine.. I think

when your gut gets damaged it can become irritated easily but matter

passing along it. So what it may do is close up because of

irritation. Your body doesnt want anything to touch it. I had a

pinching in my sigmoid and I could really really feel that it was

pinched off shut. " spasm " as it would be defined in Irritable Bowel

Syndrome. I would take enemas just to empty my bowels and could

literally feel the water just squeasing or trying to flow through

that part and finally make it through. Well the glutamine I started

taking it and I totally believe it healed part of the lining there

that didnt want to be irritated and my bowels started flowing

beautifully. Let me tell you what a relief. I was scared there is

some huge problem with me. Its nothing dont worry about it. It just

also sounds like you are cheating way too much in your diet. I know

Bee does not believe in " damaged lining " but my experience tells me

different. I had done all kinds of enemas and got all kinds of

rashes way too fast from them! Not properly sealed up.. But when I

fealt that constipation wasnt a problem and things were good. The

enemas caused no rashes.. I hope Bee allows this post. I know its

contradictory what she believes in but my experience tells me

different. Good Luck!

==>Sorry I addressed you as Laurie. I understand about not being

computer savvy; maybe try to trim your messages a little more - see

our Candida Group Info folder (in the files on the left menu).

==>If you want to fix your constipation you need to stay off brown

rice, quinoa, nuts and seeds for sure. They will cause constipation

and also candida toxins being killed off causes constipation in some

people.

==>Ensure you are consuming enough good fats; they really help the

bowels - try the upper range of ratios recommended. Good fats also

heal and strengthen the intestines. If you tried 1,000 mg vitamin C

per hour and it didn't work take 2,000 mg every hour, and also do

enemas.

Let me know how it goes.

==>You are not correct about me not believing the intestines can

have a " damaged lining " !!! The intestinal lining does get badly

damaged, but the cure is not l-glutamine. The cure is the high

natural fats that are on my diet, along with moderate protein and

low carbs, with absolutely no grains, nuts, seeds and legumes!!!

When you took the l-glutamine I'll wager you wern't on high fats

like my diet.

I'd like you to be more careful about your assumptions my friend.

> Thanks Jodi. When I started the diet for the first month on just

meat and veggies I literally stopped having bm's. Like Bee said dead

yeast create lots of toxins and can cause constipation. Well I did

the vitamin C thing 1000mg every hour. I got gassy around 18,000mg

and finally had a loose stool around 25,000mg. I am not kidding! I

was a mess. Enemas were a lifesaver to me during the first major

die-off and I rely on enemas every 4 or 5 days now to keep things

moving.

I have cut out all grains a couple days ago so I'll see how it all

goes. I can't eat nuts or seeds anyways because I have a mouth splint

in 24/7 and couldn't eat them if I wanted to now.

Thanks everyone. I'll keep you all posted on my progress.

Dear Bee,

I have an update and I'll start with the good news first. I have

gained 5 pounds in the last 11 days! I'm growing out of my stick look

(smile)

Bad news I haven't had one decent bowel movement yet. I had one small

bm on day 4 (a couple hard pebbles). I did an enema on day 5 (passed

enough for a couple days) and did another enema on day 9 with big results.

I am getting all my ratios just about perfect. I am doing the high

end on the fats d/t my low weight and not cheating at all. I do VCO

and ghee at 6-8 Tb/day. I do the raw cultured cabbage 1/4 cup each

meal along with HCL/pepsin (4-6 each meal)and a couple digestive

enzymes. All my food is ground and cooked. No raw veggies

whatsoever. Lots of homemade broths.

Yesterday, (day 10) I did the vit C 4g loading dose and 2g per hour

and got up to 40g and not a thing, not even gas.

Today, (day 11) did the same thing and passed a couple hard pebbles

I've tried Mg in the past without success and do the epsom salt baths

and dry brushing twice a day. I really am stumped again as I've tried

just about everything in the digestion files.

Thank you for your precious time.

==>I believe your ileocecal valve could be the problem. It is a

sphincter (circular muscle) which is found where the small intestine

connects to the large intestine. It is located above the appendix in

the lower right side of the abdomen. Massage it according to this

article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/massage1.php

I hope that helps.
