Bee - I really think now that it was a reaction to the niacin.

Sorry - I didn't mean to alarm you - I am NOT having heart

palpitations or hives. I am just getting upset about all these strange

new things happening to my body.

No Doug -

I am not breaking up the 50mg pill up. I could only find 100mg so I am

breaking that in half. Going forward, I will break up the 50mg pill.

Thanks for the advice! Is it best to take most at night?

Within 20 mins of the incident the redness went away. I don't think

it's food poisoning either!

Sorry... that was a typo on my part. I meant break up the 100 mg pill

in half! I usually take which ever half is bigger after my supper.

==>It is best to take Niacin with your B complex and with meals.

There's no need to take it mostly at night.

Thanks Doug - Now that I know what I'm dealing with (niacin flush), I

won't be scared next time it happens.!!
