Guest guest
Hello Bee, this is my first contact with your candida support group. I'm a woman from Barcelona (Spain). I'm 41 and I suffering vaginal candidiasis from 4 years ago (it started after taking some antibiotics). Traditional antifungics didn't work, that is why I consulted Internet and I founded a lot of information about antifungical diets. I've followed an antifungical diet with a nutricionist and during some months I became better but since last september I'm suffering candida again. In this diet I'm eating whole rice and almonds, nuts and peanuts, but I read in your article " How to overcome candida " that rice and nuts are not allowed. I have 3 questions: 1. I can change rice for millet, amaranth, buckwheat and quinoa, no problem. But during the day, between meals, what kind of snacks can I bring with me? I need something easy to bring in my bag. I'm thin (despite I eat very well) and I would'nt like to lose weigth. 2. I don't understand why butter doesn't have lactose. I'm not eating any dairy products, and it sounds strange for me butter is allowed. Could you explain it? 3. Can I find some recipes for making bread? Until now I was eating rice crakers or rye crakers or almond bread (made by myself), but I can't find buckwheat bread or amaranth bread without sugar or yeast in Barcelona. Many thanks in advance (and sorry for the mistakes!) olga
