Guest guest
Be very cautious about how you help your child. Psychotropic drugs are the popular medical answer but they are harmful, sometimes extremely so and dangerous and seldom solve the problem. Yes, " they " will tell you it is common, as they want to sell you drugs.Poor diet is also common. I believe from searching for answers on the internet that providing a healthful diet is the most positive step you can take. Be sure your child receives a good fish oil in the summer and cod liver oil in the winter, 1 tsp. per 50 lbs. Get all processed foods out of the house. Keep only healthful foods in the house. Cook from " scratch " and do not use mixes, including salad dressing. It is the only way to make sure of what is in the food. Be careful of the counselor you choose. They have been taught that drugs are necessary. You may, in fact, want to be careful not to draw attention to your child's problems at this point in time (at least until you have given diet a chance) as there have been legal problems with some parents who did not want their child on drugs. In some instances, the counselor has brought in the State who try to remove the child from their home. --------------------------------- Need a vacation? Get great deals to amazing places on Travel.
