I am also very curious about this. I have a hearing test on Thurs. because I

have one ear that feels full and wierd and I have had dizziness and hearing

loss in that ear. SOmeone told be that they had the same thing and after

candling the symptoms went away. But I have also read that candling does

nothing and it can be dangerous. Any thoughts out there?

Hi Angel and Marjorie,

As far as I can recall, we haven't discussed ear candling here. Ear

issues are common with Candida. Have you looked through the " Ear

Treatments " file (either on the group or Bee's website) for

suggestions to help your ears feel better? If I were you, I'd try some

of those natural suggestions before spending the money on a treatment

that might not do a thing for you.

hope that helps,

jackie

I did ear candling a few times several years ago. It was fascinating. The

most dangerous part I could see would be starting a fire. Have someone

else assist you if you do it! (Don't do it alone).

The other dangerous thing would be having the wax drip back into your ear

or having the material that's " sucked up " fall back into your ear.

I'd recommend doing the other, less dangerous treatments first. The ear

candles aren't extremely expensive from some on-line places I've found,

but the other natural sugestions are even less expensive.

Hi,

I am prone to ear infections and stuffy ears too.

What I do now is put coconut oil in my ears as soon as

I feel the least bit itchy, and it goes away with one

application. It's a natural antibiotic but

moisturizing and non-damaging. Please give it a try

and let me know if it helps.

Yes, just so it's liquid enough to go into my ears.

It does feel nice when it's warm too.
