Ensure you are taking the correct Vitamin C from Natural Factors. It is should be the one labelled " C Extra 500 mg. " - on the bottom of the front label it states " Plus 500 mg bioflavonoid " . Other vitamin C products from them contains sugars. ==>If you are taking the correct one, remember that candida being killed off creates carbon dioxide, which is gas. But also I suggest you start with less and only gradually increase it to minimize gas. At this point I suggest you cut back on the daily amount 1-2 tablets per day, depending upon how much you are taking; stay at that dose for 4-5 days and then increase it one tablet and in 4-5 days increase it again, and so on. Mine has only gelatin capsule (gelatin & purified water), and magnesium stearate. Magnesium stearate is used to keep the capsules or tablets from sticking to the machinery, so it is unavoidable. > > i dont think its die off based on experience, as die off a reduced dramatially to antifungals, healthy bacteria but the vit c always gives me gas ==>I've heard a of a number of people who get gas from vitamin C. Does cutting back on the amount or taking smaller doses at a time help? Bee
Guest guest
hi bee sorry i referenced u the tablet form of vit c extra, i usually take the same one as u in capsual form, i just rechecked the web site for details i cant really lower the dose because we need 4000mg because of the copper in the chlorofresh, dont we? i just had some cabbage rejuvelec which i havent had for about 2 months because i am having 2-3 cups of sauerkraut a day, wow is it more powerful, i got pains in my shoulders and a bit of brain fog afterwards although i have been having the sauerkraut with no trouble. lv joe > > hi bee > > thanx for the reply > > i am taking the correct one as u stated and i just read the ingredients to that one , which are > > " Di-calcium phosphate, lactose, crosscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate (vegetable grade). I suggest you take only 1 tsp. of chlorofresh per day and cut back the vitamin C to 2000 mg for awhile and see if that minimizes your gas or not. Then you will know for sure. > > i just had some cabbage rejuvelec which i havent had for about 2 months because i am having 2-3 cups of sauerkraut a day, wow is it more powerful, i got pains in my shoulders and a bit of brain fog afterwards although i have been having the sauerkraut with no trouble. ==>That's great you noticed the difference. Cabbage rejuvelac contains different probiotics than sauerkraut. Luv, Bee P.S. Joe, would you please trim your messages? The instructions were just posted on the group this morning. Thanks. Guest guest
Now I'm curious why chlorophyl must be taken with Vitamin C... in DC
Guest guest
> > Now I'm curious why chlorophyl must be taken with Vitamin C... ==>, chlorophyll contains copper, so the amount of vitamin C I recommend must be taken as well because vitamin C lowers copper levels so they do not get too high. That's why it is important to take all of the supplements and doses recommended. Everything works together, so leaving out any one of them throws off other nutrients. Guest guest
Thanks Bee! I am taking all of the supplements in the proper amounts, but I was just curious because I know there is some sort of balance between zinc and copper--I had never heard of Vitamin C factoring in as well. Thanks as usual for your quick response in DC
