Guest guest
Theresa, The description of your overall symtoms sounds like you are going through a major detox/healing phase. You may be feeling miserable but your sinuses draining is actually a good thing. It means your body is healing and ridding itself of toxins. Stopping the flow would only prolong the agony so to speak. Have you tried garlic snizzles (see the files on sinus treatments)? I made nose drops out of garlic tea and put them in a dropper bottle. That works well too...whether the nose is stuffy or runny. It's not an instant " cure " but it does help. As Bee often says...This too shall pass. Hang in there. Hugs, Ellen [ ] Can not take it any more. Think my body is going crazy This is the worse I have ever felt with my sinus and it flowing and flowing without stopping it seems. When I wake in the morning is when I feeel the worse. I felt a little better I thought last night before I went to bed and when I woke up this morning I have been feeling shaky, nauseous, fatigued, congested in my chest, aches and pains all over my body, sore throat and my head is in a daze. Also feel like my ears and nose is burning. I put coconut oil in my ears the past two nights and put it in my nose last night. Someone suggested that to me. My feel like this will never stop and I will never feel well again. Is there one thing that will mainly help the sinus from flowing like a faucet. Thanks for your help Theresa
Guest guest
Hi Theresa, I agree with Ellen, it sounds like you're going through accute die-off symptoms. I know it's little help when you're feeling so bad, but it's really a good thing. It's possible that cutting back on some of the things you're doing could give you some relief...like maybe ease off the amount of CO you take, or ease off the garlic. Also, you might want to do the 9-day program for severe die-off. Find it in the " Digestion & Digestive Problems, Help for " File. we're here for you! jackie > > This is the worse I have ever felt with my sinus and it flowing and > flowing without stopping it seems. Guest guest
First let me say that I have not been doing the diet hardly. I have been on some supplements and those have helped me but I have been under a lot of stress with my husband having pneumonia and other things going on right now that I know part of my problems is the stress. My main problem is my sinuses have been flowing like a faucet at times and sometimes I have been stuffed up. My whole head, ears and my throat a little hurts. The pressure in my head is numbing and it is so hard to take. I feel like I am nauseous and feel like there is fluid in my chest at times. My ears are burning and so is my nose and sometimes my throat is sore. Thanks for your help Theresa > > > > Hi thresea, > > I know first hand how that dieoff is not fun. Guest guest
Hi Theresa, If you aren't doing the diet, that's the first thing I'd start with. Doing this any less than 100% will give you lousy results. If you haven't already, the one major thing I'd cut out of your diet is dairy. Dairy is known to produce excess mucous. I wouldn't trust such treatments if I were you. There is a a very good reason the sinuses are plugged up with mucus and it is best to stick to the diet and supplements and to not suppress symptoms. However, it is okay to use totally natural treatments to be more comfortable. The closer one sticks to the diet and supplements the faster such things will heal. Guest guest
Hi Bee, I honestly wasn't suggesting this as a treatment. I was suggesting this the same way you said; for Theresa to get some relief in that moment. I even said to her that this won't cure her sinus issues just offer a bit of relief She was clearly suffering and I thought this might help her resist going the allopathic route. This was given to me by a pretty respected Naturopath in Toronto so I didn't think it would be harmful. Sorry if I was inappropriate. > > Here is all the info I found on the bottle. > > www.neilmed.com > > www.sinusrinse.com > > www.nasalrinse > > NeilMed Pharmaceuticals, Inc. > > ==>Hi . Unfortunately most Naturopaths do not understand about natural healing, and they often use supplements, herbs, etc. like doctors use drugs. Even natural substances can be overdone so the body is overwhelmed, when what it needs most is nutrients so it can heal in its own way and time, and less toxins.
