Guest guest
My psoriasis is completely healed from this diet. Even the times I have cheated (with low carb foods) it has not come back. I do get wicked acne and itchy butt when I cheat though, and they come back quickly, but my psoriasis is GONE! Yippee! Not a scale to be found anywhere! It took about 7 or 8 months for it to go away completely. I also can get yucky stuff in skin folds, and I find dessert essence tea tree oil soap used daily works wonders. I ordered H2O2 to dilute and spray on my skin, but it hasn't come in yet. The skin on my neck is painfully dry and hurts when I turn my head. Coconut oil helps but I seem to need something more moisterizing. ==>Rather than the H202 put drops of oil of oregano or tea tree oil in coconut oil and apply it liberally as many times per day as you can to the areas that affected. It may not seem as if the coconut oil is moisturing enough, but believe me it is. Your skin is probably crying out for it and absorbing it very quickly. Keep applying it and taking it internally. You could also try putting lard on your skin; or even puts drops of oil of oregano or tea tree oil in it as well. > > What can I do for my skin while my body is working on healing more > important areas? Are there any extra supplements I can take to help my skin? ==> Ensure you are taking " all " of the supplements recommended, at the recommended doses - re-check your list to be sure. Cod liver oil, which contains omega 3, and vitamins A & D, plus vitamin E, B complex, vitamin C, good nature-made fats, and the ocean sea salt with lemon (electrolyte drink) are all very important for the skin. Ensure you are getting the recommended amounts of nutrients in the cod liver oil brand you take - some need to be further supplemented - see our Cod Liver Oil Folder. You can take 100,000 mgs of vitamin A total (between cod liver oil and separate capsules from halibut liver oil or fish oils). After one month stop taking the extra amount for 2 days, and then resume for another month. But do not continue taking that high of a dose for longer than 3 months; after that go back to the normal doses. Do ensure it is natural vitamin A called " retinol " and not synthetic, and that it is not derived from soy. I hope that helps. Let us know how it goes.
