Guest guest
it sounds to me like you may have celiac disease -- the huge tummy as a baby is a sign of that. One reason you may have gained weight on this program is because after removing gluten from your diet you are now able to properly absorb the nutrients you were unable to with gluten damaging your small intestine -- this often happens with celiacs. In any case, I'm glad you're finding success and feeling better! Kay > > Hi all, > > I just wanted to report some good success. I'm supe rhappy about it. It's strange cause even though I've always been underweight, I've always had that baloon belly, especially after eating so it's made me look pregnant. But now, flat and fine. And to my joy I am also gaining weight on this diet. Yay! It's so amazing caus eI was so scared to loose weight on this diet. But I think Bee said things may fluxuate up and down for a while during the detox period to finally stabalize where it needs to be, ie on our normal body weight for us. I think your food intake looks great. But I myself am just learning how much food I need too. It's hard. From my fitday calculations I'm supposed to eat 5 cups of veggies alone in a day and I'm having trouble with that. Plus all the protein and fat I can barely stuff it all in. lol. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Need a vacation? Hi, I do have coeliacs...I was diagnosed 6 years ago, but removing gluten did not help my symptoms. Also I was more over weight then, another 10kgs more then now, so unlike the typical coeliac my body is exeptional at storing energy when it cant absorb. But you are so right about babies! I wish my mum had known about it when I was a little one. Take care Lelita

You are correct because all candida sufferers have celiac disease. Bee

Congratulations on having a slim tummy! Very well done! I think I wrote that your rib pain could be related to digestive problems too. Ensure you are eating 1-2 tbl of sauerkraut with every meal along with Betaine Hydrochloric Acid tablets - the first most important digestion is in the stomach. When you have enough stomach acid in the foods coming out of the stomach it triggers production of other enzymes. See the C) Digestion Folder for an article about how to take hydrochloric acid tablets. ==>Your diet is fine. Do not be concerned about trying to lose more weight at this point in time. As you progress candida will be interfering less and less with hormone production and utilization throughout your body and along with detoxification your weight will level off eventually. Guest guest
-Hi Bee, yes you suggested the pain under my ribs could be from digestion...thats why I even suggested it to my doctor. Thanks for the tips on how to manage it, and the reassuring words about not stressing over my weight...your right...now I should be focussing on my health only. Its just hard, I am 24 and I think preprogrammed to worry excessively about things like my size...as a teacher I see so many young girls doing the same thing...it worries me alot...I need to fix my own brain with relation to this so I can be a healthy role model fro young girls... Sorry, just my personnal rant here...I am working hard to ensure I focus ont he right things...my health and curing candida is so first place! Thanks so much Bee...I have to say this...I know without this groups I could not do this, there are too many concerns in my brain, without a forum to have htem calmed I would have lost out long ago. You are such a blessing! I know my partner would say the same, he thinks the world of you for the health your programme is giving me! Thank you Lelita

It is important to be a role model for your young students. Health is first! > > Sorry, just my personnal rant here...I am working hard to ensure I > focus ont he right things...my health and curing candida is so first > place! > > Thanks so much Bee...I have to say this...I know without this groups I could not do this, there are too many concerns in my brain, without a forum to have htem calmed I would have lost out long ago.
