Guest guest
> > If I and my 16 month old son are eating raw butter and chicken livers. Do we still need butter oil and clo? If so how much? ==>Hi Kara. Butter oil is excellent for anyone, if you can afford it. You do not need very much. Also cod liver oil is a must for everyone, so it is extremely important you both take it. For your son see " Candida Treatments for Babies & Children " ; http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/baby.php For information about cod liver oil, brands, etc. see: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cod2.php Cod liver oil contains 3 important nutrients: Omega-3, and Vitamins A & D; see two sections in my candida article: Essential Fatty Acids, and Cod Liver Oil & Fish Oils http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php Also see the Supplements List: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu2_4.php Bee

Bee, can you expand on what exactly butter oil is or why it is so good? How is it different from ghee for example? I searched on the internet but haven't found much information. Or maybe there are files you can point me to? Do you think I might tolerate it regarding die off? a

You can find out when you buy the butter oil, which is available at the same places that sell Blue Ice Cod Liver Oil (Dr. Ron's Ultra Pure, Radiant Life and Green Pastures). If you can't tolerate it now, it won't be wasted because you can try it later on. Bee
Guest guest
==>a - here's the article " Butter Oil " ; http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/butter1.php Hi Bee, I had seen this article but am still unsure of what exactly butter oil is. How is it different from ghee? How is it produced? Just curious... Also, I take 1 tablespoon of Carlson's Cod Liver oil. Can I take more to get my fat intake up and also to combat depression? If so, how much can I take? Ever so thankful, a

It seems that butter oil is considered to be a " super food. " I found this page that discusses how it's made and what it's properties are. http://livesuperfoods.com/GPP001.html hope that helps, jackie

Guest guest
Also a good quote from http://www.drrons.com/x-factor-butter-oil.htm " Price made Activator X butter oil by centrifuging butter to produce oil that was much richer in Activator X than whole butter. He always used the oil in conjunction with high-vitamin cod liver oil. " From what I can tell it just puts the nutrients into a more concentrated form. Good butter oil is also from cows that are fed on rapidly growing grass, so that increases the nutrients content even more so. An interesting side note is some now think that Price's " x factor " in cod liver oil and butter oil, may be due to the prostaglandins present in these items. http://www.westonaprice.org/knowyourfats/tripping.html " Dr. Price was often called to the bedsides of dying individuals, when last rites were being administered. He brought with him two things—a bottle of cod liver oil and a bottle of high vitamin butter oil from cows eating growing grass. He put drops of both under the tongue of the patient—and more often that not the patient revived. He was puzzled by the fact that cod liver oil alone and butter oil alone seldom revived the dying patient—but the two together worked like magic. Research into prostaglandins may supply the answer. High vitamin butter may be rich in AA and possibly other factors needed for the omega-6 pathway; and cod liver oil is rich in EPA needed for the omega-3 pathway. In addition, the saturated fatty acids in butter help the unsaturated fatty acids in cod liver oil to work more efficiently.
