Guest guest
I belong to a coop in the US that has more free range organic meat options than a regular supermarket. I also buy a lot of my meats directly from an area farm, where all their meats are organic and free range. And though these meats are good for you, you can still cure candida even with out organic or free range meats. Bee's diet provides all the nutrients your body needs to heal and build a stronger immune system. And it's having a strong immune system that keeps candida from being a problem. " ) I've never seen a liverwurst made out of free-range meat (anyone seen this).....conventional bred liverwurst you buy is going to be loaded with all the crap that comes with a typical factory farm reared cow with an unhealthy liver . I notice people here seem to talk about meat without mentioning if its true free range here ...is this just the accepted convention & everyone understands that what is being talked about is free range or what?..just so I will know in future. Personally I dont eat much meat & I dont eat liver at all ...because I've not been able to find a reliable free range supplier where I am ... I tend too eat more fish ...(be aware though that 90% of fresh fish sold in Australian supermarkets is farm reared..USA probably the same) & factory fish are pumped full of all of the same crap, commercially raise chicken, cows, sheep & pigs etc are..I can get wild sardines though for eg which are a good oily fish Is free range meat widely available in the USA in supermarkets too or what ?... Guest guest
I too, am very cautious about buying meat in the store. I usually buy directly from the farmer - I've got family members who have farms. I don't like the idea of eating meat that is full of antibiotics and hormones. I don't need any of that messing up my already struggling immune system. Are there certain brands of fish that are better than the rest? I always look if it says Alaskan Wild caught on the label. Guest guest
Hi Sharon, It is my understanding that wild caught is better than farmed (since farmed fish get feed that is not as complete as what they would get in the wild) deep water fish are better than coastal varieties (since coastal fish tend to be exposed to more toxins from industrial waste run off) and that smaller fish are better than larger fish (as certain toxins increase in saturation as they move up the food chain). I eat wild caught cod, haddock, and shrimp. I also just added sardines and anchovies and love them both.
