I had some chicken(sources uncertain-supposed to be free-range). After a few of that chicken I had this period like pain which I mistakenly thot was healing reaction.When I stopped eating it, and tried chicken from a more reliable source,the pain went away. My friend had similar experience too.THat was probably commercial chicken. Commercial chickens are so sick they'd probably die if you don't slaughter them on schedule.
