Guest guest
I would like to begin the anti-candida diet but can't afford to lose any weight. I have been under my normal weight for over 4 years and seem to be unable to gain weight. I have had a pleathora of medical tests done and haved ruled out anything serious. I took Dr. Crook's candida self test and scored likely to have candida. My main symptoms are: Toe nail fungus (over 15 years) Dry, itchy scalp Almost daily anal itching (more than 4 years) Chronic congestion Sporadic brain fog Bloating/fullness (more than 4 years) I would like to begin an anti-candida diet but am concerned about the weight loss from not eating bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, etc. I've also read that the inability to gain weight can sometimes be related to having yeast overgrowth - is that true? I currently eat 3 meals with 1 or 2 snacks per day just to maintain my current weight. My diet is mostly chicken, eggs, wild salmon, vegetables, good fats, rice, sprouted bread, and whole grain cereal. Thanks for your listening and your input.
