The oil does not contain sugars or carbs, but the pulp

from the coconut does? How can that be?

No, the oil does not contain sugars or carbs. It's a saturated fat

that has been extracted from the coconut meant. Just as any vegetable

oil or olive oil does not contain sugars or carbs, neither does

coconut oil.

the coconut meat has much more to it than just the oil, that's why it

contains sugars and carbs.

you can find more info about coconut oil in the files at our

group site or online.

Almost all oils are pure fats. Read the nutrition information on a jar of

coconut, walnut, corn, peanut oil etc ...

They generally break the fats down into percentages of monounsaturated,

polyunsaturated, saturated and trans fats these days. But besides that,

they should say carbohydrates 0 mg, protein 0 mg, cholesterol 0 mg ...

is is good stuff isn't it?!

:o)

It has strong anti-fungal properties so don't overdo it by eating too

much. You can get serious die-off reactions just from coconut oil.

Some people are so sensitive to it that they can only eat very small

amounts at a time and have to build up gradually. Also keep in mind

that it's part of the diet as a " good fat " and must be kept in proper

ratios with proteins and carbs as specified.
