Guest guest
Hi Joanne, I hope you got Bee's message about refined coconut oil, she does not recommend it. Sorry I gave you bum advice. I hope you didn't buy it already. Guest guest
Yes, sorry about the incorrect advice. I've been fine with the refined stuff I got from MRH but I will be ordering the VCO next go around. Can anyone tell me does it have a taste to it? The only other VCO I've used was the " Jungle " brand they have at Whole Foods and it definitely leaves my food with a coconut taste. Guest guest
It does have a coconut flavor to it, Debby...it's not terribly strong though. jackie >Can anyone tell me does it have a taste to it?

Guest guest
Hi Debby, I'm confused by what you said about coconut oil: ***Virgin means it hasn't been processed. The refined stuff they sell is good because it is expeller pressed, which means it is processed in such a way that is very gentle and does not harm the oil. The refined stuff does not have any taste.*** I have Omega Nutrition VCO and Jarrow VCO and neither one of them has a lot of coconut taste - like the Wilderness Family brand of VCO. They are all virgin, which I thought means it isn't refined. Am I missing something?
Guest guest
Hi , The information I gave was wrong. I thought I read some where that there was a safe way of extracting taste and smell of the oils and I was wrong. Guest guest
We've been using the Jarrow co, my dh & I both like it -- both externally & internally. The one we have also indicates it is expeller pressed. L & P > I have Omega Nutrition VCO and Jarrow VCO and neither one of them has a >lot of coconut taste - like the Wilderness Family brand of VCO.
