Gail,

I'm willing to bet it is probably die-off reactions. I say this because I have

the egg drink almost every day (and usually more than once a day) and mostly

have no problems at all. But every once in awhile I get an upset tummy from

it...mostly an over full gassy/nauseous feeling. When that happens I mix a

little baking soda in water and sip it. Then kick back in my recliner (not

really lying down but relaxed and comfy) for a bit...until I feel better. I

will usually find myself experiencing an increase in other reactions on those

days too...like the skin itching, which is definitely a die-off thing for me.

Hang in there.

Hugs,

Ellen

[ ] Egg Drink & Upset Stomach

I've been doing the egg drink for abt a month now. Every time I drink

it, I get an upset stomach which lasts most of the day. Abt a week ago

I stopped using the coconut oil in it as I was thinking maybe that was

doing it. I've been adding a little olive oil instead. I'm still

getting the upset stomach. So is it the eggs? Is it that this isn't

agreeing with me or just some more die off. I'm getting to the point

where I have no appetite for eggs any more. I still eat them, but if I

can figure out anything else to have for breakfast besides eggs I'll

have something else. I've always liked eggs, but I've been eating them

so much maybe I'm just getting sick of them? I like the egg drink and

figured that would be a way to keep getting the eggs in me if I don't

want them otherwise. Would just like to get over the upset stomach

thingy.

Thanks.

Gail, the egg drink does kill of candida in your stomach. Whether

you use olive oil or coconut oil won't make much difference because

they both kill candida. Try having eggs yolks only in the drink and

see if that helps, and also cut back to only one egg yolk and only

gradually increase it. Gail, unfortunately we can't go wrong with

nature's foods, because even cinnamon kills candida to some degree.

You could put egg yolks in soups.

The raw eggs contain a good deal of sulpher which kills candida and creates

die-off. So I'd do just the meat, oil and veggies for a while, then slowly add

in the coconut oil into your food, then add the drink later and see how you do.

It is a lot easier to act ourselves into new thinking than to think ourselves

into a new action.

Thank you, Bee! I'll give that a try. I do mix eggs in some of my

other dishes. I made some tuna burgers the other day, but I put three

eggs in and that was a bit too much - maybe one next time :). They

were pretty yummy though. I'll have to play around with adding them to

some other things.

Gail,

How about some spaghetti squash for breakfast smothered with lots of butter

and cinnamon?

Thanks, great idea. I've had the spaghetti squash smothered in butter

{though not for brkfst) but never thought of adding cinnamon. Yum,

sounds good.

Thanks, Ellen. If it's killing all that junk in my tummy/intestines

then I'm happy that's going on. I'll have to give the baking soda/water

thing a try.

Hello Gail, I truly feel for you because a few weeks ago I posted a message

with exactly the same stomach problem. I was able to get it under control

by changing the water/tea for bone broth. Now when I have me egg drink I no

longer have stomach pain/problems for some reason.

A couple of days ago I ran out of bone broth and made the egg drink with

cauliflower/broccoli soup, since the soup was a bit wattery than the bone

broth was, I once again started to have stomach problem. Give the bone

broth a try in your egg drink and let us know if it works for you also.

Best regards,

Maddalena

I too feel your pain. The same thing would happen to me. I discovered

that for me, it was the eggs that were doing it. Cooked eggs don't bother

me a bit, but 3 raw eggs in the egg drink would make me have nausea and

stomach pain for the better part of the day. If I only have 2 eggs (with

the same amount of butter and coconut oil) though, that doesn't give me

the problem.

Just a thought.

Gail, I hope you have success adding eggs to other foods. Let us know

how it goes since your playing around could help others.
