I've been told that too high levels of cortisol (produced by the body when it's

under stress)

can even cause brain damage. I try to lower my stress levels but it's very

difficult.

the same as having too much stomach acid?

//> Why do you think that taking baking soda would increase your

stomach acid? Sodium bicarbonate is actually an antacid, so it would

actually reduce the levels of acid in your stomach temporarily. The

symptoms you were having were most likely candida/yeast die-off.

> And as I told you before, every single thing that cause production

of acid make me feel pain.

> So perhaps the pain is the liver. I don't know. I came from a

country where we eat one egg every other day to avoid damaging the liver.

> Hope my liver is fine.

//> Why do you feel that eating 5 egg yolks is too much? And what is

your rationale for thinking that eating more than one egg every other

day will damage your liver? Have you just practiced this limitation

because others told you this, or have you actually reviewed some type

of study that indicates that more than one egg a day causes liver

damage? Personally, this doesn't sound correct to me, at all. I firmly

believe you should not be in fear of eating egg yolks daily, and not

limiting the quantity.

>I was saying that I have lots of acid in my stomach. I think that is

the cause I've never had the H. bacteria in my stomach. Also

anything that produce acid make my stomach hurt ( ex: Niacin,

gelatin, etc.) So believe it or not, some of us have more acidity

than others. Perhaps is not common, don't know that.

==>I believe you are mistaking toxicity for acidity; toxicity is not

acidity. Also the symptoms of low stomach acid are exactly the same

as high stomach acid. Your symptoms definitely point to low stomach

acid. When I was curing my candida foods hurt my stomach too, but

eventually as I become less toxic, and had enough Betaine

hydrochloric acid my pains stopped. H. pylori are a normal

inhabitant of the stomach, just like E. coli and salmonella are

normal in the digestive system.

==>In order to turn this around Claudina, I recommend you stay on

broths, soups, and pureed foods long enough to minimise your stomach

pains.

==>Hi . When the adrenals malfunction, producing too high or too

low levels of hormones, it can cause a lot of health problems in the

long-run. Since candida overgrowth causes the adrenals and many other

organs in the body to malfunction it is important to concentrate on

building up your immune system so it will " make " candida change back in

the friendly organism it is supposed to be in the body.

The reason candida is the culprit is because its toxins make all of the

body's cells go rigid/stiff, which makes it difficult for organs to

function normally and even if they are able to produce hormones those

hormones a less able to get into stiff cells, along with nutrients.

The cells become more toxic as well because they are less able to get

rid of their waste products.

To help lower stress levels deep breathing exercises are very important

because they switch your body over from running on your sympathetic

nervous system to the parasympathetic nervous system. Also it is

important to take the recommended amount of ocean sea salt which is

very important for adrenal function. Also dry skin brushing or

rebounding on a trampoline, or jump rope, are detoxifying methods that

can be done daily. It is very effective in stimulating and

decongesting the lymphatic system, and helps the liver and adrenal

glands function. They exercise the lymphatic system and get it flowing

and moving properly because this system does not have a pump like the

heart.

The parasympathetic system is concerned with conservation and

restoration of energy, as it causes a reduction in heart rate and blood

pressure, and facilitates digestion and absorption of nutrients, and

consequently the excretion of waste products.

In contrast to the parasympathetic system, the sympathetic system

enables the body to be prepared for fear, flight or fight, and also

illness. Sympathetic responses include an increase in heart rate, blood

pressure and cardiac output, a diversion of blood flow from the skin

increased pupil size, bronchiolar (bronchilar tubes leading to the

lungs) dilation, contraction of sphincters throughout the body, and

metabolic changes, and particularly increased hormone production by the

adrenals and other organs.

For deep breathing exercises see the Folder " C) Breathe Properly - For

overall health! " in our Group's Files.

==>Baking soda neutralizes acid, so you definitely did not have high

acid. Your stomach produces baking soda to protect the lining so it

doesn't get eaten out by stomach acid, and your pancreas produces it to

alkalize stomach acid. When you do not have enough HCL your body

doesn't produce enough baking soda.

bread he took with it. But bread normally makes him itch

==>Hi Joni. It is most likely die-off/healing reactions. Many

people have candida and don't know it, or they refuse to believe they

have it, so when they react to some foods they freak out, thinking

they are allergic to them, or there was a bug in the food. Neither

is true. Any aluminum in the salt, nor bread, would cause that kind

of reaction. Bread tends to bind up a person rather than causing

diarrhea.

They are experiencing die-off/detox or healing symptoms because there

are many foods that are antifungal, including butter. Also when the

body gets the nutrients it needs it will go into action cleaning up

the mess. LOL!

That's why many people " think " they are allergic to garlic, or

onions, or some other foods that are antifungal, however healing

reactions are " not " allergic reactions!

I agree completely, Bee. An old friend of mine (who no longer calls

me, unfortunately, because she doesn't understand my reasoning behind

my dietary regimen, and I think she thinks it is strange) swears that

she is 'sensitive' to cooked onions (they gave her the 'D'). Before I

didn't think anything of it, but now I realize that the strong

anti-fungal quality of the cabbage family is actually causing her

healing/die-off reactions. I can say this with a certain degree of

certainty because I used to go to shopping with her regularly and she

would always be picking up large quantities of yeast infection creams

and remedies at the grocery. This is most likely a classic example of

having candida and not realizing it. Because she is closed minded, she

will unfortunately live with candida for quite some time. Some people

it is just very difficult to get through to, if not impossible,

because the messages about health in the mainstream media are simply

too entrenched in their minds.

Yes, it's definately difficult...

Cool, cause we do take a lot of that on this program

so it's good to know of all it's health benefits.

I meditatie regularly. Especially now that I can't go

to yoga classes. It definately helps.

Absolutely. And btw, I tolerate a lot of butter now.

It's wonderful.

This makes me think of a question, Bee. I am EXTREMELY sensitive to red wine,

and fairly

sensitive to white. And I'm sensitive in a different way with beer.

One glass of red wine can make me completely smashed and sleepy. Also, my feet

and

lower legs turn noticeably red. Two glasses of red knocks me out.

It takes two to two and a half glasses of white, but I'm falling asleep no

matter where we

are.

Beer just puffs up my stomach, but at least I can stay awake. Then the next day

my hands,

face and upper abdomen are puffy.

What do you think the explanation for this is? I know it wouldn't be die-off,

so is it some

other chemical reaction?

BTW, THANK YOU again for referring me to the electrolyte drink. Adding the sea

salt has

made a huge difference.

Hi ,

You're feeding the yeast by drinking any alcohol. It's not allowed on

this diet.

==>Hi . It can be a die-off symptoms too. Wine contains

alcohol which is a mycotoxin (fungal-type toxin) which feeds

candida. Candida produces carbon dioxide (gas), which causes

bloating, along with over 79 different toxins, most of which are

alcohol which affect the brain and mental functioning, like a

hangover. Sorry I'm short on time today! :)
