Guest guest
hi Liz, This is what I was doing already to make ice cream previously however, I just stuck mine in the freezer and let it freeze, take it out and whip it up and then put it back in the freezer. I am going to try the way Jecca does and see if there is any difference in consistency/ texture etc. That is UNLESS Jecca already tried it in the freezer and can comment on any difference. in the UK On 10/5/07, shukura_9 <shukura_9@...> wrote: > > Since there are no other replies to Jecca's post about ice cream, I'm > assuming no one has tried it yet, because if you had you would have > posted about how great it is! > > I tried it and it's so good it's really hard to believe that it's > allowed. Guest guest
Hi , I did try to freeze it but I usually forget about it, and then it gets too hard with out whipping it before it freezes too much. Also, with my way, its ready faster, so I can have my treat sooner. " ) I have a friend who has an ice cream maker I can borrow, and I'm going to try to make it in there, and see what happens, not sure if it will act the same as regular ice cream, but we'll see. Guest guest
Hi Jecca, Yes that was my next idea actually using a real ice cream maker. Let us know how it goes since you will be able to compare to your past experiment. Although the thermodynamic would be great for me to do at least once since I homeschool my children ! GREAT experiment. Also whipping our own butter is on the agenda too :-) thanks again for sharing in the UK On 10/8/07, jeccajay <jeccajay@...> wrote: > > Hi , > > I did try to freeze it but I usually forget about it, and then it gets > too hard with out whipping it before it freezes too much.
