Guest guest
Hi Bee, I just joined your group and in the last couple of days I got a lot of answers to a lot of questions. Mostly because it is very well organized. And thanks to UK Nick, he did a lot of research on that diet, I am going to work with that one. Now, I will try to keep this short, I have Candida mostly in the neck and throat. Also my neck has turned a stained red which varies in intensitie with pain. (my painometer) I have a substantial supply of Nystatin suspension and Fluconazol pills. I was presribed these by a doctor that I can no longer see because he does not take insurance and my paying him $200 a week is impossible. I talked with my last doctor who recently retired and he said not to take either without a doctor monitoring liver/kidneys. He was also steadfast in his belief that my teeth were the cause of this problem although he would not give it the name of candida. The doctor that I cant afford gave it that name after a fecal test. Well here is the dilemne. I had my teeth removed a few weeks ago. All 26.They were loaded mercury fillings and were in poor shape. I was hoping after having them removed that this would magically dissapear. Just another dissapointment. But just the opposite is happening, My neck is swelling up more, It is so painful that I cant move. The only way I could sleep last night was after 2 percocets (left over from teeth removal) which dont do anything for the pain but did allow me to sleep even if only for a few hours. Please dont tell me to go to a doctor, I have seen most of the yellow pages and was at one Tuesday, he took blood and said return in 3 months. SCREW DOCTORS. I am sure that my teeth had some to do with this, but I also had some major shoulder surgeries. And I have taken more than my share of Kenalog 40 and dosepaks(steroids and prednisone) So I believe that also played a significant role. The pain that I have endured in the last few days has been identical as to when this started 3 years ago. It is literally paralyzing. And when I am coughing that stuff up, that is the expedition from hell! My bottom line question is this, what can I do short term to alleviate this pain. Vodka and grapefruit dont work either. Also, should I just take the Nystatin and Fluconazol? At this point, its not like I have anything to lose just because I am not paying some educated idiot to monitor my blood and maybe give me the results in a few months. Also, due to my teeth being removed, I have lost 20 pounds since May 24th, I am kind of limited on what I can eat, but a lot of eggs, soups pasta and fish. I dont see why that would cause this sudden onset of pain, or is it possible that it is the " die-off " from having my teeth yanked? Regaurdless, I would appreciate your comments for short term relief. Thanks, Ron PS sorry so long, but this has been one hell of a ride and is awfully hard to condense
