However, cholesterol is a totally false theory, only to sell drugs and make a business out of people being sick. > > The reason I asked is my dear friend has stomach acid issues and is taking Lipitor for high cholestrol. THo' she is inclined to believe the saturated fats things, it'll be good if there are real live example to pacify her. She's goes to see the doctor regularly and whatever I say to her eventually snuffed out ==>Any and all drugs are toxic/poisonous to the body, and the side effects and damaged caused by Lipitor are too numerous to mention; she should do a search on Dr. Mercola's site: www.mercola.com and at www.westonaprice.org for cholesterol and also heart disease. Heart disease is not caused by a lack of Lipitor, nor by high good fats. > > She also always says that since my cholestrol was never high in the first place the diet is okay for me. I just don't want unpleasant surprises like if she do the diet then her cholestrol got higher or she gets some heart attack and I get the blame. SO it'd be good if some if you can share what the experience has been like the ups and downs. She is also taking antacids and has numerous issues with bloating etc etc ==>No one could ever get a heart attack caused by this program. In fact it will cure heart problems. The ratio of high good fats is exactly the same as Dr. Jan Kwasniewski's Optimal Diet which he has been using to cure people of heart disease, asthma, diabetes, cancer, etc., etc. for over 30 years in Poland; http://homodiet.netfirms.com/ More than likely your friend has candida, and this program will also correct her stomach/digestive problems. > > By the way besides the stress test, is homocysteine a good measure of heart health. ==>Dr. Mercola should be able to help with that. SO that's the first thing she will blame. More than likely your friend has candida, and this program will also correct her stomach/digestive problems. @@ I believe so too. The links I provided will give her plenty of education about the causes of heart disease and none of them include my program. > More than likely your friend has candida, and this program will also correct her stomach/digestive problems. > @@ I believe so too. Or search using " statin drugs " . > > @@While we are on this subject. I just told him I'll ask my support group. " In a multi-year British study involving several thousand men, half were asked to ***reduce saturated fat and cholesterol*** in their diets, to stop smoking and to increase the amounts of unsaturated oils such as margarine and vegetable oils. After one year, those on the " good " diet had 100 percent more deaths than those on the " bad " diet, in spite of the fact that those men on the " bad " diet continued to smoke.2 In a study of Indians from Bombay and Punjab, researchers found that those from Punjab had one-fifth the number of heart attacks even though they smoked eight times more cigarettes.3 And while smoking was widespread at the turn of the century, myocardial infarction was not. " From: What Causes Heart Disease?; http://www.westonaprice.org/moderndiseases/hd.html There are many other studies that prove consuming high good fats does not lead to heart disease. They are found in the references I gave you.
