Guest guest
bee thanks for the reply i really appreciate it. so if one has enough stomach acid, does that mean they DONT have candida? i'm going to do the baking soda test tomorrow morning to see if my stomach starts belching. I've taken Betaine HCL before and had horrible burning, heartburn, etc. in my stomach.. the doc thought that maybe because my body wasn't producing acid anymore the protective layer was gone, thus having the burning when i started.. maybe that's true but i want to do the baking soda test to see.. is this an accurate test? " Baking Soda Test - For this test you will need some fresh baking soda. To perform this test: mix one quarter teaspoon of baking soda in eight ounces of cold water, first thing in the morning, before eating or drinking anything except water. Drink the baking soda solution. Time how long it takes to belch. Time up to five minutes. If you have not belched within five minutes stop timing anyway. If your stomach is producing adequate amounts of hydrochloric acid you should probably belch within two to three minutes. Early and repeated belching is consistent with excessive stomach acid. Belching results from the acid and baking soda reacting to form carbon dioxide gas. " Cause this would be great if i could get a good idea of my stomach acid and put this to rest. thanks scott \ Bee <beeisbuzzing2003@...> wrote: > > All > > thanks for the replies. They make sense.. because i after all don't have any symptoms of candida.. the only ones being ALLLLL the food allergies.. I should mention that before i changed my diet 2 1/2 years ago i ate kinda lousy.. least sugar wise and such. i took anti inflammatories a lot because of sports and had horrible heartburn and loose stool a lot because of the gluten and dairy.. that went away when i cut those out. ==>I had so many " so called " allergies to foods that I could only eat 9 things in the whole world (everything else came back up so I had no choice). See " Healing Reactions Versus Allergic Reactions. " ; http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal11.php ==>Candida causes healing reactions to many foods! > > I couple questions though.. first, where's the best place to start to see the outline of this diet program? is it in the files section? ==>I actually am setting up my new website so you can find the program there: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu2.php > > second, i'm starting a very demanding job here pretty quickly, actually an academy where they make you work out till you drop.. and i need energy! where do i get it if i can't have carbs? ==>You get your energy from high good fats which are the very best and most efficient source of energy for the body compared to carbs of any kind. That's why this program works so well! > i've been someone who works out alllllllll the time during my life, and really don't know how to get energy.. i got so allergic to a lot of veggies i don't know if i could eat a large enough variety. ==>You do not eat many carbs on this program (carbs are any foods that aren't classified as protein or fat). This program is high in good fats and moderate protein from animals, fish and eggs, and low carbs. You can figure out your ratios; see the link above. > > also, does NAET work with acupuncture for your guys' food allergies? ==>It helps, but the only thing that turns around any " supposed " allergies is by building up the immune system. All of my food sensititives are non-existent now, except for foods that are adulterated, toxic or damaging. > i had it done without acup. and it didn't.. but someone told me that you have to do it with the needles or it wont work a lot of the time. depends on whos doing it too. ==>I had accupressure and it works well too. Also you can do Shiatzu on yourself. > > also, if your problem is NOT candida, and it's something like, parasites, or mercury toxicity, or something along those lines, will this diet kill the parasites as well? ==>Yes, parasites are there for the same reason candida is: a depressed immune system. The antifungals recommended kill parasites. The high good saturated fats and others on this program are the best chelators of heavy metals in the world! Good fats also cleanse the body. They are the very best antioxidants every! > > i tend to get sensitive to supps if i take too many too long, i hope that doesn't screw up doing this.. and i should mention every time i take digestive enzymes i get mucousy stools (i dont think i spelled that right) and then a bloated contipation feeling as i take them.. does this mean i DONT need them? ==>No, that does not mean you do not need them. All candida sufferers have low stomach acid. Mucus is formed throughout the body in order to clean out, clear out toxins, so it is a good sign. Bloating is caused by candida producing carbon dioxide (gas). my stool test never showed undigested fibers in my food so i thought i was okay, but a doc keeps insisting i have a hydrochloric acid deficiency or something. ==>You should take Betaine Hydrochloric Acid tablets as I recommend in my candida article, and also see the Digestion information at my website: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu4_2.php > > anyways, sorry for all the questions, and i'll read up in the files section, but these things were really sticking out in my mind. > Take good care . Candida is caused by a depressed immune system and an overload of toxins, not by one factor, namely low stomach acid. Candida growth in the stomach causes low stomach acid and the modern diet high in toxins, sugars and carbs. > > i'm going to do the baking soda test tomorrow morning to see if my stomach starts belching. The reason your protective layer is gone is because the stomach also makes bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) which protects the lining of the stomach. If the stomach doesn't make enough HCl it won't be making enough baking soda. Bee
Guest guest
Bee very interesting.. so how does one start taking HCL if they can't tolerate it because the protective layer is gone? do you start with a small dose or something? that's why i get so frustrated because it seems i'm stuck in limbo with no real clear answers to what i have going on.. no doc has ever been able to pinpoint a cause and just say, do this.. that's probably why your diet is popular. what happens though if one DOES have food allergies to specific foods that one needs to eat, say to coconut oil or olive oil? do you recommend fighting through the symptoms and just keep eating it? because a lot of docs say stay away from what your reacting too.. and like myself, if i start reacting to something i feel SO much better if i stop eating it. i read your allergic vs. healing reactions.. but how do you know if what you are experiencing is NOT a healing reaction, but your body actually not liking something? thanks bee, happy new year everybody. scott Bee <beeisbuzzing2003@...> wrote: > > bee, thanks for the reply i really appreciate it. > > so if one has enough stomach acid, does that mean they DONT have candida? ==> How could anyone come to that conclusion? My stomach was my worst problem when I cured my candida 20 years ago. At one point in time I could only eat 9 foods in the whole world (everything else came back up so I had no choice). However all of my supplements stayed down, including HCl. I had a history of ulcers, bleeding esophagus, heartburn, hiatal hernia, etc. ==>I suggest you try one of these two things: 1) Take 1/2 tsp of baking soda in water 1/2 hour before your meal. Then in the middle of the meal take 1 HCl capsule, and take another one 40 minutes after your meal. If your stomach burns take more baking soda in water; sipping it only until the burning stops. But if you have nausea, heartburn, heaviness (like food isn't digesting) take another HCl. 2) Take 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil by the spoonful just before your meal. In the middle of the meal take 1 HCl capsule, and take another one 40 minutes after your meal. If your stomach burns take more baking soda in water; sipping it only until the burning stops. But if you have nausea, heartburn, heaviness (like food isn't digesting) take another HCl. Let me know if either of these methods helps you. > > what happens though if one DOES have food allergies to specific foods that one needs to eat, say to coconut oil or olive oil? ==>This is from my article " Allergies, What They Are & How to Treat Them " ; http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/allergy1.php " An allergy is defined as: " A condition in which the body has an exaggerated response to a substance introduced by inhalation, ingestion, injection, or skin contact, often manifested by itchy eyes, runny nose, wheezing, skin rash, hives, diarrhea, gas, bloating, headaches, aching muscles, joint pain, and many others. Please note that these reactions are exactly the same symptoms as healing reactions. These reactions are created by the immune system, as a healing response, indicating that it is working very hard to eliminate and/or minimize the effects of toxic overloads on the body, or the ingestion of a poison. Candida overgrowth itself contributes over 79 different types of toxins, most of which are alcohol. Handling this overload is like trying to handle a hangover every single day of your life until you get rid of the candida overgrowth. There are many other toxic sources in our environment and foods as well, which add to the toxic overload on the body. Some substances aren't merely toxic, but act just like poison, which causes direct debilitating damage. It is widely published that allergies are caused by a depressed immune system. At the same time allergic responses and symptoms means the immune system is working extremely hard. When the immune system isn't working up to par, it results in a total breakdown, so that bacteria, viruses or diseases, such as cancer, are allowed to take over. However, a healthy immune system is designed to destroy bacteria, viruses, cancer cells, etc. Many people mistakenly assume they are allergic to many healthy foods, herbs, spices, etc. because of allergy tests or body reactions, which doctors also label as allergic. Please note that almost all allergy tests are inaccurate and they should not be relied upon to determine your allergies. Some allergies are obvious, because they are caused by toxic substances, i.e. room deodorizers, smoke, chemicals - in the air, body care products, cleaning products, etc.), smog, chemtrails, pesticides, etc. But allergies to animal dander, dust mites, dust, mold, pollen, etc. are less obvious. However, not everyone reacts negatively to these substances, which obviously points to a depressed immune system in those that do. It is a fact that the body can react to good unadulterated foods with " allergic-like " symptoms too, exactly the same way it reacts to toxins or poisons. However reactions to good foods are not allergic reactions, they are healing reactions. When the body receives nutrients it needs to heal, it goes into high gear, doing its job of healing, which creates healing symptoms. The long list of healing symptoms are exactly the same as the long list of allergic reactions, i.e. increased mucus in all mucus membranes (nose, sinuses, throat, lungs, intestines, stomach, etc.), headaches, stomach upset, gas, bloating, difficulty breathing, inflammation, heart palpitations, swelling, rashes, hives, diarrhea, constipation, fever, etc. In fact hives are a healing reaction too. It is caused by the immune system releasing histamines and other chemicals into the bloodstream to handle toxins or to affect healing. Histamines causes hives, rashes, itching, swelling, and other related symptoms. Although hives may be uncomfortable, they are generally quite harmless and disappear on their own. Therefore, do not be alarmed if you get healing reactions from good foods like eggs, coconut oil, butter, and other good healing foods. If you get reactions that are alarming or intolerable just cut back on the amount and gradually increase it. do you recommend fighting through the symptoms and just keep eating it? because a lot of docs say stay away from what your reacting too.. and like myself, if i start reacting to something i feel SO much better if i stop eating it. i read your allergic vs. healing reactions.. but how do you know if what you are experiencing is NOT a healing reaction, but your body actually not liking something? ==>Your body always likes " good unadulterated foods " ; that's why this program is " Back to Nature. " Mother nature doesn't get it wrong. And like I have said " God didn't make any stupid bodies. " If there were such a thing as allergies to good foods many isolated groups from all over the world that Dr. Price studied, who only had a limited number of foods to eat from their area, would have been very sick puppies indeed. However they ate the same limited foods day after day after day with no ill effects, no healing reactions (no allergies ???), and they were extremely healthy. Dr. Weston A. Price's book is " Nutrition and Physical Degeneration " ; http://journeytoforever.org/farm_library/price/pricetoc.html I recommend you read it. > > thanks bee, happy new year everybody. ==>Happy New Year to you too . Guest guest
Bee, so if i'm understanding this correctly, is that " food allergies " are due to a depressed immune system.. what many docs call a " overactive " or " dysfunctional " immune system.. and our immune systems are depressed because of whats living in us, ie candida, parasites, etc? and we get this way because of our lifestyle, chemicals, toxins, etc. am i understanding this correctly? now as far as the HCL goes i will try that.. butttt, i never like playing hypothetical games but i must ask because again, no doctor has told me, at what point do you say, " i must have enough acid? " the only reason they (doctor's) believe i don't have enough acid is because the leaky gut won't heal. (and i know you prescribe to the leaky gut theory).. so what i'm wondering, is that i've had a stool test through Doctor's data, and they didn't say anything about my digestion.. they in fact said it was normal, as well as the pH of the stomach and on and on.. i don't have bloating or anything after meals and my stool is virtually always well formed, etc. (never constipated) as long as i take probiotics and eat enough fat. so i sometimes think this new doc is telling me its acid just because no one else really knows what else could be causing the food allergies.. I'm just not real keen on taking HCL and having my stomach burn when no doctor has really ever SHOWN me or TOLD me what it is they're looking at in deciding i need more stomach acid.. AH HA! i think after blabbing i finally found what's bugging me about this! i don't know what the doctor is using to decide i need more acid!? to me, it seems i have plenty or that its not a problem.. i would nothing more like something so simple to be the answer to my problems, i just want some proof, or explanation how they're coming to this conclusion, but i never get one.. they just say, try it. ugh. finally, my last questions to bother you bee. Do you have to have that " drunk " feeling if you have candida? because i never do. second, i know you told me this before, but this diet will kill off any other bugs if you do have them? like liver flukes, or parasites, or those weird bugs no test can really detect because there's so many? they pretty much just live off sugar and carbs right? and this one is HUGE.... a while back, (because of mercury issues) i started doing saunas. the conventional type that get nice and hot.. anyway, after eating foods i reacted to, they would make me feel like a million bucks, sweating out all the toxins or histamine reactions i was getting.. anyway, i did 10 sessions total, each 30 minutes.. after the first few i noticed a red mark on my skin, thought it was just dry and put some lotion on it. this happened off and on during the couple month period i did the 10 saunas... then after i did my 10th, i didn't do one for about 2 weeks.. at the 2 week mark, i started getting rashes all over my body.. BUT it only seems to be caused by my clothing.. so i thought it was detergent and now i'm worried i'm getting chemically sensitive.. i used CHEER and switched to PLANET.. so i believe that's healthier anyway, but what caused the rash! it doesn't seem to be going away.. and its flat, red dots kinda in clumps.. doesn't seem to come unless i get in contact with something.. from the couch to a chair, to my sheets, clothes.. ugh.. no doctor has helped me in this area either.. i thought id ask you because of your backround with toxins, healing, etc. and wondered what you thought. also, if i wanted to take a large dose of natural organic anti-fungals to see if indeed i get a die off reaction to know if candida is my problem which one should i choose? i know there's several, but wondered if one in particular could give me a good indicator of what's in my body. thanks.. sorry for being so long winded.. it's just fresh when i get someone who actually answers my questions instead of docs you i go to, pay a ton of money, get into debt, and get no answers. scott Bee <beeisbuzzing2003@...> wrote: > > Bee > > very interesting.. so how does one start taking HCL if they can't tolerate it because the protective layer is gone? do you start with a small dose or something? that's why i get so frustrated because it seems i'm stuck in limbo with no real clear answers to what i have going on.. no doc has ever been able to pinpoint a cause and just say, do this.. that's probably why your diet is popular. ==>Your whole protective layer wouldn't be gone or you would be up chucking at lot. Also when your body is overloaded by toxins it will react to any others. I lived with my daughter for awhile when I was curing my candida, and she had a dog. Any place on my body that the dog came in contact I got a horrible welt with a rash that itched like crazy. If her tail wagged onto my leg the welt was exactly the same size as her tail. ==>My allergy tests at time listed so many foods it was insane, however it confirmed that I was not allergic to wine, chocolate, or tobacco. If she had avoided them all she wouldn't have been able to get enough nutrients her body needs to heal. I knew she had candida but she wouldn't listen to me. Finally she reniged and went on my program, but it was too late. Her immune system was too far gone, and she died of cancer 3 months later; that was 2 years ago. > > also, if i wanted to take a large dose of natural organic anti- fungals to see if indeed i get a die off reaction to know if candida is my problem which one should i choose? i know there's several, but wondered if one in particular could give me a good indicator of what's in my body. ==>Again, even if you do not have candida this program works! Guest guest
I have to agree with the raw garlic idea ...this is the only antifungal that can cause me brain fog & dizziness sometimes for hours after eating ...I used to think that it was an allergy (to garlic) ,...but now I'm starting to believe it could be die of reactions since the reactions are fading. I dont get any die-off symptoms with coconut oil or any of the acidophulus supplements or other antifungals(including garlic capsules) that I have tried though ...so maybe raw garlic is the most powerful.(for me anyway) The thing with raw garlic is finding a comfortable way to take it ...without burning a hole in your throat/gut The only way I know how to do this is to blend it in with some food in my Vita-mix. Blending it into Bee's raw egg drink recipie may be acceptable tastewise...I dont know because I usually have eggs very soft boiled atm so dont have this option to try atm...also Im not sure if the garlic would destroy the benifit of the egg drink ?..(can't see why it would). ...but most people can probably find thier own way to fit it occasionally into thier diet..without the discomfort. <==>Again, even if you do not have candida this program works! When we <do not follow Nature's Law we get sick. See the numerous success <stories in our Group's Files. If you want to experiment take tons of <raw crushed garlic. Guest guest
yeah that's the only thing.. i'm not sure if i can tolerate crushed garlic.. i could at first when i first changed my diet to be GF/CF and was eating REALLY healthy.. but slowly over months i started belching garlic horribly bad.. i can't eat it any longer and keep it down so... not sure if i could handle eating that much garlic. definitely developed a sensitivity to it. scott O <mike225@...> wrote: I have to agree with the raw garlic idea ...this is the only antifungal that can cause me brain fog & dizziness sometimes for hours after eating ...I used to think that it was an allergy (to garlic) ,...but now I'm starting to believe it could be die of reactions since the reactions are fading. Guest guest
Hello , Have you tried crushing a little garlic in coconut oil when you add it to your foods? It really seems to help the stomach handle it better. Please forgive me if I am way off course with these questions as I do not know your particular situation. Are you eating sauerkraut with your meals yet, drinking Bee's electrolyte drink or taking HCL with pepsin? Hope this helps. :-) Debra NW O'Hara <kastout24@...> wrote: yeah that's the only thing.. i'm not sure if i can tolerate crushed garlic.. i could at first when i first changed my diet to be GF/CF and was eating REALLY healthy.. but slowly over months i started belching garlic horribly bad.. i can't eat it any longer and keep it down so... not sure if i could handle eating that much garlic. definitely developed a sensitivity to it. scott

It is because garlic kills off candida and other bugs, which produce die-off/healing reactions. To minimize these reactions start with small amounts and gradually increase them.
