Guest guest
Hi Bee! I thought you would like to know the recovery was a bit slow (in fact I still have a deep cough now and then) but I am relatively well now and back on track with everything...including teaching my water aerobics classes. I ended up totally unable to eat enything other than liquids for a couple days and the sore throat was so bad that I finally let DBF talk me into using a numbing lozenge type cough drop one night. However, I only used one. Not bad for two weeks worth of sore throat, constant hacking cough, chills, fever and feeling like I was dying. Still not sure if I picked up something new (thanks to my cruddy immune system) or was retracing something from the past (the penicillin allergy incident or bronchitis from when I was a kid). Actually I don't think it matters what caused it...just that I made it through okay. The garlic tea gets lots of credit as does extra Vitamin C. Thanks for talking me through the worst of it. {{Hugs}} Love, Ellen
