Guest guest
I think the cinnamon has finally caught up with me. I am having an Ankylosing Spondylitis flare due to the build up of starch from the spice in the raw egg drink, after consuming it for a number of days now. I was affraid of this, hoping I would be able to tolerate, even only adding 1/2 the amount the recipe calls for, but it looks like its not gonna work. Any suggestions of what I might be able to add? I don't think any spices will be tolerated. What about pure extracts? Vanilla? Are these allowed on the candida diet? I doubt, because of the alcohol. But I have some homemade vanilla extract that I made by infusing vodka with vanilla beans. Any chance I could use that? Or maybe fresh spearmint? That is abundent in the garden right now. I hope I can find something because I don't want to give up this drink. I guess I will try without the spices and see how that tastes for now. Let me know if you have any ideas. Last, what about sugar free gum? ==>When you first start on the egg drink it is important to start on less butter and coconut oil because they are both antifungal. Start with 1 egg and 1-2 tsp each of butter and coconut oil with less of the other ingredients. Only gradually increase the amount every 4-5 days so your die-off symptoms aren't so severe. If you get sick on 1-2 tsp. start with 1/2 tsp. ==>It takes me awhile to drink 3 eggs, so I drink it on my way to work every morning. You can drink it in one sitting if you like. What wouldn't be healthy about the egg drink every day?? About 3 years ago I had the egg drink 3 times a day, with a total of about 8 eggs. ==>You can do a site search on my website for menus and also see the recipes section. ==>Sugar-free gum contains artificial sweetners, and all of them are damaging to the body. Do a site search on my website for sugar and also see my article " How to Successfully Overcome Candida " under the Sugar section, and my article " Foods that Damage, Foods that Heal.
