Guest guest
Hi everyone! Fellow fighters of Candida! I was wondering if Krystal Salt is good. They claim it contains all 78 minerals from the Himalayas. It does taste different than table salt. Also, I went to Trader Joe's and they had sea salt that was gray and moist for about $3.99 so I thought I'd try it and it tastes like table salt, very strong, what's up with that? Thanks in advance! -amy in Pittsburgh

It should only be ground just prior to eating, and it shouldn't be dried out. I think the best brand is Celtic (Nature's Cargo in Canada). Bee, Several weeks ago I got Celtic Sea Salt but got the ground kind. It's from the " Grain & Salt Society " . It is sun-dried too! Is this bad? I was told here that this was best than my Trader Joe's one, which is gray, coarse and moist, from France, but not " Celtic " . Now I'm confused. Thanks for your input and sorry about everyone's post about the Dr. Mercola: I started it! Chris.

Now I'm confused. ==>Celtic sea salt is sun dried like all other sea salts, but it is harvested using only wooden paddles, with no metal touching it. The coarser the salt the higher the minerals; the more finely ground prior to purchasing the less minerals. The one from Trader Joe's is okay too, it's only a question of whether they harvest it without using metal. > > Thanks for your input and sorry about everyone's post about the Dr. > Mercola: I started it! ==>Thank you Chris. No worries. It's over. Luv, Bee
