All day long I ground coffee beans making blends of fresh ground coffee and lattes, etc. to sell the customers. I have never been a coffee drinker, so did not drink any, but the lattes and espresso's were fun to make. > > Not long after I began to work there my body began to swell to bigger clothing sizes, I gained weight and my appetite decreased. I wasn't feeling my best and one day when I came home from work I lay down to rest as I felt a bit out of it. The next thing I knew I was desperatly trying to make it to the bathroom with an intense feeling I was going to loose everything at both ends. When I was making my way out of the bathroom the phone rang as I passed it and I managed to answer it. My friend was on the other end and she wouldn't let me hang up until help came. I sunk to the floor and began to fade out. I could hear her in the distance but could not respond or even hold onto the phone anymore. > > The paramedics came and rushed me to the hospital. I had a very bad reaction to the coffee I was grinding at work and my body was absorbing the coffee dust and oils through my skin poisoning me. I had come close to death. I was so thankful the phone rang when it did with my friend on the other end to save me. I am wondering if the coffee enema you suggest would be a good idea or not for me. What do you think? I have not done an enema before and was hesitant about doing one, but the memory of my bad reaction to coffee years ago has me wondering if it would be too risky for me. ==>The type of coffee you were grinding was most likely non-organic and not " certified organic " like the one used for enemas. Commercial coffees are loaded with pesticides and chemical fertilizers. I can see how it could seriously affect anyone because pesticides and fertilizers are poisons! But medical people will still blame the coffee itself. > > If I am not able to do a coffee enema is there something else I can do that would have the same or similar results for the liver, gall bladder, etc? ==>Yes, even plain water enemas are very helpful and also antifungal and probiotics enemas that are alternated. I know the decaf coffee beans were swiss water processed, but I do not remember anything about organic coffee beans. So, with that in mind do you think I could try maybe 1/2 the amount of the organic coffee you recommend for the enema first to see how I do? Then, if I did have any kind of reaction, what would you recommend I do for it? Electolyte drink, Chlorphyll and high doses of vitamin C? If I am not able to do a coffee enema is there something else I can do that would have the same or similar results for the liver, gall bladder, etc? ==>Yes, even plain water enemas are very helpful and also antifungal and probiotics enemas that are alternated. Guest guest
Debra, Why not start out with handling some of the coffee first the way you did in the coffee shop. Put your hands in it, breathe it etc and see if there's no reaction. I tend to also think it's probably because it was not organic, but why not try some other things first before jumping straight into an enema. (Possibly even try drinking some decaf, because I think the allergen part of the bean is still present after the decaf process). The reason I mentioned decaf is because you probably don't want the stimulating effect of regular coffee. Just remember, you can't use decaf for enema, it has to be regular coffee. Guest guest
A different topic about coffee...Not emenas... Is a cup of coffee a huge no no on this diet? It helps tremendously with constipation for me and i just started having one cup in the am and i am good to go for the day. I follow the diet but not 100%. I don't eat a tremendous amount of fat and i am now trying the coffee. What are the benefits or problems with coffee. Guest guest
Coffee is allowed as long as it is organic. I would say however that if you tend towards weight problems I'd skip the coffee.
