Guest guest
To Bee and everyone else who jumped in with advice about my son on Saturday night - thank you very much for all your help. He is now much better, though still tired and very pale. I'm afraid I did lose my nerve as his fever got higher and higher and the cough became so bad he was vomiting, so I gave him the antibiotics. It is a short course (3 days) and I have been giving him probiotics in between. I have been using the humidifier in his room at night, and filled the bathroom with steam at bathtime, and that has really helped his breathing. I am giving him regular Vitamin C, and I am just about to make homemade soup for him. I am now better prepared for the next infection. I have just been to the doctor with him (the appointment had been made before the weekend) to have blood tests and a stool sample done, to find out what is going on, although I already know. He has candida - was born with it, had lactose intolerance and cradle cap (both of which he grew out of)and is now small and thin with frequent diarrhea, an itchy bottom, and probably an underactive thyroid. I asked the doctor to test for candida, and he said he doubted he had it!! I have just about reached the end with doctors, but I need them for testing, so I can then treat with the blessing of my husband and parents (they think I am cruel taking away sweets and chocolate from my children). Harry is also iron deficient, which lowers his immunity, and opens him up to infections. This brings me onto a question, Bee. Is it OK to supplement with iron when one has candida? I think I read somewhere that iron feeds candida, so I have been holding back from this. I have tried feeding Harry liver, and he won't eat it, though he does eat small quantities of red meat, but not enough to make a difference on his iron count. I hope I don't sound too pushy with advice for my grandchildren. You know how daughter-in-laws feel about that!! We are so fortunate to learn of this natural healing from Bee. Thanks, so much Bee. I hope to donate to your new website soon. Luv, Val > >

He can take dessicated liver tablets. > I think I read somewhere that iron feeds candida, so I have been holding back from this. I have tried feeding Harry liver, and he won't eat it, though he does eat small quantities of red meat, but not enough to make a difference on his iron count. ==>Certain kinds of iron feed candida, but not the natural like dessicated liver. The best, Bee P.S. Would you please trim your messages? See our Candida Group Info folder. thanks.
