With the " B " vitamins.....and the additional niacin. the " B " complex

contains niacidimide so I take an additonal " Niacin - 50 mg "

1) Do I take both (the B vitamin and the Niacin) two times per day?

Cod liver oil and Fish oil.

1) If I do not get sun in the summer, do I stay on Cod liver oil year

round?

Raw Egg Drink

I made this once and when I poured in the boiling water and blended, it

exploded. What I was able to salvage didn't taste very good.....it was

watery. What did I do wrong?

==>Yes you take both.

==>Yes you do, in order to obtain enough Vitamin D your body requires.

==>Exploded? I've never had it explode on me. Did you add too much

water in relation to the amount of eggs and other ingredients? I

make it every morning and I've never had it explode. I use 3 whole

raw eggs, 2 tbl butter and 2 tbl coconut oil, plus spices.

Hi there,

With reference to the exploding egg drink - was your blender air

tight? Because if there is no outlet for hot air to get out and you

blend at hot temperatures, this can cause the lid to explode off!

(happened to me once when shaking a shake with hot water in an air

tight container)

If there isn't an opening in your food processor, you could try making

the egg drink with cold water.

hope this helps,

xx

Yeah, that's probably it. The steam from the hot

water created too much pressure. On my blender it has

a glass jar and the lid had vents.

It is a lot easier to act ourselves into new thinking than to think ourselves

into a new action.

Hi, Barbara

I'm a 1st time poster to this group and I had the same experience the

1st time I made the egg drink. I poured all of the ingredients in the

blender jar, turned the blender on and the drink exploded all over my

kitchen, so I can sympathize with you!

My solution was to add all of the ingredients to the blender jar

except the hot water. I remove the little plastic insert from the

rubber jar lid and secure the rubber jar lid to the blender jar. I

then turn on the blender and slowly pour the hot water through the

opening in the rubber jar lid. I haven't had any more explosions

since using this method.

I also use only 3/4 c of water as suggested by another group member.

The drink comes out thicker w/less water.

==>So the egg drink shouldnt be watery? That's good to know as I

tried it and I didnt like the watery consistency. I'll try less water.

Also, the only stevia I could find was in little packets and it

had pectin and FOS in it? Should I use it or keep looking?

Thanks,

==>You can adjust the water to the amount of eggs you use. It

shouldn't be watery.

==>Keep looking. Check your health store's bulk jars where they have

herbs; that is where I got mine.
