Guest guest
Hi Bee & members! Am from Papua New Guinea, just joined and am glad to be part of your wonderful group. Just wondering if noni oil [Morinda Citrifolia] is one of the “ok” oils to use?...can’t find it anywhere in your site search. In PNG as well as other parts of the pacific islands we use the noni fruit and almost all the other parts of the plant/tree as traditional herbal medicine for treatments of coughs, colds/flu, diarrhoea, intestinal/stomach problems (aches/pains), sores, abrasions, abscesses/boils, skin infections/inflammations, dandruffs and the like… the noni oil I’m referring to is home made mixed with coconut oil. I found in the net that noni’s chemical constituents are: amino acids (which include alanine, arginine, asparticacids, cysteine, cystine, glycine, glutamic acid, histidine, leucine, isoleucine, methionine, phenylalanine, proline, serine, threonine, tryptophan tyrosine, and valine); anthraquinones ; glycosides; phenolic compounds; resins; B-sitosterol; and ursolic acid. Thanks, , PNG Send instant messages to your online friends http://au.messenger.

I have more time on the weekends. Welcome to our group if I haven't welcomed you before! > > Am from Papua New Guinea, just joined and am glad to be part of your wonderful group. Just wondering if noni oil [Morinda Citrifolia] is one of the " ok " oils to use?. ==>No, I wouldn't recommend noni oil. The oils and fats I recommend will do everything they report noni will do, and they will do it much better, i.e. butter, coconut oil, lard, and natural occuring fats and oils in meats, eggs, fish, seafoods. Luv, Bee
