When I was pureeing meats I found that adding fresh or powdered garlic and plenty of sea salt made it appetizing. Be sure not to make it too liquid either. Once I added too much stock and it was like a swamp :-) ANyway, definitely try the garlic and experiment with other herbs like oregano, basil.
