Guest guest
The Metrogel is an antibiotic. fyi. It's probably messing up your system. I dealt with this problem many years ago. In fact, nothing I did helped it. I went to several doctors. One said bacterial vaginosis, another said yeast - go figure! What eventually happened was that I started on garlic daily, and it really helped. If I stopped the garlic, the problem would return. Eventually, my body normalized and the problem disappeared completely. But I took that garlic for years before I was brave enough to stop. Guest guest
Hi , I had issues with this too after being given antibiotics for cystitis. Now I just place a high-strength capsule of acidophilus in my vagina every night and the good bacteria overwhelms the bad. Jo
Guest guest
Ohhhhhh! I could hug you. The doctor said the same thing to me : bv and sometimes yeast. Sheesh. Okay, Garlic daily. I was doing well this summer, which is why it went away, but then work started and I stopped the garlic. All right. I'll get back on. I'll take the garlic capsules when I'm at work and drink the tea at night. Many thanks, --------------------------------- Talk is cheap. Use Messenger to make PC-to-Phone calls. When my lab results came back she called and said, " sorry, I was wrong. It was yeast. Stop the medication. " At which point I had already finished the 3 day medication. Angry at that, I switched GYN's and the following year the new doctor did the same thing again!!!! They both claimed it was BV just by looking at the area. Once I started the diet, I never had such issues again. ~

Needless to say, I've since found a 3rd GYN. And to be honest, I feel better switching doctors so much because I have no confidence in them or their office staff (but that's a whole 'nother story) )~
Guest guest
Well I sure hope it helps you! And for all you ladies with the same problems, you can ask your docotor to do a swab and check it under the microscope to know for sure. At one point (I dealt with this chronically for about a year), I was sure I had a yeast problem. The doctor took a swab and came back and said I had normal vaginal flora. OH - forgot to mention that I did have to take garlic twice a day to help the symptoms. Marla On 10/3/06, M <silverpen_2004@...> wrote: > > Ohhhhhh! I could hug you. Guest guest
Hi gals, I had this same issue, mine went back and forth between the BV and vaginal yeast infection. I had no luck getting rid of it with the docs traditional meds. Bee's diet has made all the difference in the world. Once your immune system regains it's strenght/health on this diet, your vaginal issues will go away too. I've found that using the garlic tea as a douche gives some relief. There are other ideas for vaginal treatments in the files as well. jackie > > Well I sure hope it helps you! Guest guest
Treating it: Ozone therapy in the treatment of nonspecific colpitis and bacterial vaginosis http://cat.inist.fr/?aModele=afficheN & cpsidt=13558390 See also: " Application of Ozonized Oil in the Treatment of Vulvovaginitis Preliminary Study, " S. Menendez et al., Owne Research Center, National Center for Scientific Research, Havana. Cuba, Proceedings, Ozone in Medicine--Twelfth World Congress of the International Ozone Association, May 15-18, 1995. Lille, France, p. 283. International Ozone Association papers are available from the association. In North America, " ozonized oil " is called " ozonated olive oil " ; it has also been used to cure large fistulae without surgery, by packing the fistula and many other serious issues, without side effects. You can apply it safely at home. One source of OOO is Canadian manufacturer Dr. Saul Pressman of http://www.plasmafire.com but it's not listed on his website; email for Dr. Pressman is <Saul at PlasmaFire dot com> The consistency of the oil is a thick paste; Dr. H mentions how to make your own OOO in some of her books but her recipe does not contain enough ozone to make it potent or to thicken it. Hope it was OK to post it in reply to the subject Venita
Guest guest
Hi Venita, Thanks for the information on Ozone Therapy. I belong to the Ozone Therapy Group, and I do not recommend it because: 1) nutrition and the diet are the most important aspect of healing, and 2) Ozone therapy can cause problems with red blood cell production. It is much better to allow the body to decide how and when it will heal rather than giving it too many things to deal with. Nutrition is key!
