Is anybody familiar with these techniques? Hi . The best technique for removing heavy metals is my program because it allows the body to decide when and how it will remove heavy metals. It is one thing the body does well if given the nutrients it needs. Bee

Guest guest
Hi bee, I am not sure on this, has there been any testing of elimination in stools or clinical testing of this. I believe it would work on a small scale and maybe on mercury in the blood but not permanently resolving illness or helping with industrial accidents. The only natural proven method I have come across is the protocol involving devleoped by Ron Hubbard. From what I am aware once the mercury leaves the blood and sets in cells its half life is something like 25yrs. If you need to pull mercury from the pancreas, liver, brain etc you would need something like dmps, dmsa or ala. In theory if the diet worked 100% then all symptoms should clear, a person should be able to follow a normal diet and there should be no regression at all? Guest guest
HI Bee, I'm confused about your claims that your diet, fats and protein etc chelate out mercury...I hope you won't be offended if I respond. There are biochemists/doctors, highly qualified and specialised in mercury toxicity alone who are treating adults and children with this terrible affliction. Mercury is tightly bound in the tissues/organs and brain. it does not simply come out. Some mercury will come out on its own over time, but only that which is accessible and more easily eliminated. The rest has got to be chelated out with an agent that has two thiol groups (e.g. DMSA, DMPS, lipoic acid etc). These form a tight enough bond on mercury and are able to remove it from the body. Iv'e suffered it for years, I am on many mercury toxic forums and have a book written by a biochemist who has studied this condition for many years, he's highly qualified and has extensive knowledge and experience and treats many children and adults with this condition. IN order to chelate mercury from a toxic person, they need to use proper chelation and be on a safe protocol for a long enough time. Mercury deeply stored in the brain and other areas needs to be chelated out with an agent that crosses the blood brain barrier (e.g. lipoic acid/cilantro). Brain mercury does not come out on its own and a person with significant toxicity in this organ, will remain chronically sick unless they chelate it out in a safe proper manner, at the right time with a specific agent to cross the BBB and on a proper protocol. Your candida diet, fats and protein etc, no doubt have positive effects and influence on a mercury toxic person and I have no doubts it does aid the body in eliminating some accessible heavy metals in blood/tissues to a point, but much of the mercury is deeply imbedded and/or in the brain and requires specialised treatment by a qualified physician. > > > > ==>You wouldn't have been doing my diet for 1-2 years . Stool or urine tests can be done to see how effective the diet is in chelating out heavy metals, but it is best to have this test after being on the candida program at least 6 months: http://www.greatplainslaboratory.com/test19.html > The only natural proven method I have come across is the protocol involving devleoped by Ron Hubbard. Even Hal Huggins, the mercury metal guru, says butter chelates out mercury. A normal diet?? The body will not stay healthy if you do not give it what it needs. They also do not believe in nutrition so they do not know about proper diets and they do not believe in the body's powers to heal itself when given the nutrients it requires. I consider this subject closed. Bee

I'm not Bee and I'm sure she'll have a much better response for this. I don't have a lot of knowledge on mercury toxicity. But when you said that the chelating could be done by lipoic acid (and I assume that refers to Alpha Lipoic Acid as well - hope I'm not off base) I realized that it makes sense that this diet would help. This is because ALA is made by the body and it would make sense to me that giving your body proper nutrition would help it make more ALA with a healthier immune system and less to clean up. Also from the info I looked up it works in conjuction with vitamin C, which is highly recommended on this diet. Also cilantro is allowed on this diet and I've eaten it daily with no problems. Also good food sources of ALA are spinach, broccoli and beef and organ meats, all allowed on this diet. In fact it makes sense knowing that why my body seems to do so well on the broccoli and beef I eat day in and out. Here's some quotes I found: http://www.umm.edu/altmed/ConsSupplements/AlphaLipoicAcidcs.html " Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant that is manufactured in the human body. Antioxidants are substances that work by attacking " free radicals, " waste products created when the body turns food into energy. There are also many sources of free radicals in the environment such as ultraviolet rays, radiation, and toxic chemicals in cigarette smoke, car exhaust, and pesticides. Free radicals cause harmful chemical reactions that can damage cells in the body, making it harder for the body to fight off infections. As a result a person becomes more susceptible to long term diseases such as diabetes and liver damage. Alpha-lipoic acid works together with other antioxidants such as vitamins C and E. It is important for growth, helps to prevent cell damage, and helps the body rid itself of harmful substances. Because alpha-lipoic acid can pass easily into the brain, it has protective effects on brain and nerve tissue and shows promise as a treatment for stroke and other brain disorders involving free radical damage. Animals treated with alpha-lipoic acid, for example, suffered less brain damage and had a four times greater survival rate after a stroke than the animals who did not receive this supplement. While animal studies are encouraging, more research is needed to understand whether this benefit applies to people as well. Good food sources of alpha-lipoic acid include spinach, broccoli, beef, yeast (particularly Brewer's yeast), and certain organ meats (such as the kidney and heart). " Hope that helps... Guest guest
Hi, that is correct re the ala and the nutrition, the only differnce in mercury protocols is tailored supplementation of minerals to meet any personal defiencies. All people do not have the same issues. The diet works great my whole familiy follows it. But with natural chelation I am just not sure how long it would take. For me I had suffered from all sorts, the usual thyroid, fatigue etc. You could ask anyone who knows me though what one month of chelation achieved compared with 1 yr of good diet. Maybe I am a one off but I guess its difficult to compare because you can't. Within 3 months I was running in the gym for 5 mins and tolerating sauna, walking the dog for 5 miles and biking. I had not been able to do this for 2-3yrs. What I do not though is mercury disrupts chemical proccessing and pathways in the body, this is why I think for some diet alone does not work too well and why I had strange issues tolerating some things. Guest guest
Something else to consider, a lot of the " natural " chelation medicines such as ALA actually are a great breeding ground for candida.....In fact they are apparently pretty much a tailor made food for them - so why would you want to take the risk ???? I KNOW I have mercury toxicity, but as the main forms of chelation my dr recommends (NOT Bee) are vitamins, amino acids, blue/green algae and Vit C as antioxidant... well, thats all part of Bee's diet. And it IS moving the mercury. Note that my first hair analysis showed that I had hidden mercury, it did NOT show up in my heavy metals, the last one showed mercury in the heavy metals, so it is coming out. Albeit slowly. Slowly is good way of doing it. If you are worried - add some cilantro drops (couple of drops on your feet and wrist will get it going) I do. The other thing to think about - is if you haven't got a healthy digestive system, the chances are that even if you succeed in moving the mercury out of your tissue - you will just reabsorb it. Really is important to get the gut completely healthy before even thinking about chelation of any form. So its important to get rid of the candida before thinking about even using the cilantro. We spent months getting the kids healthy enough to do biomedical chelation with them (i.e. using supplements) Its been a very large learning curve! Eventually they will follow Bee's diet as well. I'm moving them over slowly! Anyway, thats my 2c worth! Instead of Blue/green algae which contains too much iodine (your body only requires trace amounts and higher amounts than needed cause thyroid problems) I recommend liquid chloropyll, and algae is also moldy and too strong for most ill people to handle. Good saturated fats are the best antioxidants you can ever have, particularly coconut oil. And it IS moving the mercury.
