stainless cookware

Hello,

I was reading Bee's article on safe cookware. I'd like to get another

stainless stock pot, but now I am confused as to which brand to buy. I went

to Sonoma and put a magnet on every single stainless pot they had,

and the magnet didn't stick to any of it.

I used to have a Le Creuset enameled stock pot, but the metal ring around

the lid of the pot rusted and leaked rust into my stock!

I went to the website sited in Bee's article (about no nickel magnetized

ss), but the website has changed. It still exists, but there is nothing

there about cookware.

Anybody know of a brand that they would trust?

Thanks!

Marla

> Bee, This is interesting about the nickel cookware. I had NICKEL

bridges put in my mouth three years ago and THAT is when things got so

bad for me. It was removed 6 months ago but now I am thinking I wonder

if it made the mold/yeast issue for me worse. Anyone care to

comment. Just your opinions would help as it affected my nervous

system. Thank you.

Yes Bill, any toxins like nickel would contribute to the body's toxic

overload which depresses the immune system, and in turn allows candida

to take over, particularly when the diet is inadequate. Your body is

better able to handle such toxins when it is strong, fortified by a

good diet like I recommend, which also chelates out heavy metals at the

same time.

Just to share my experience about finding fabulous stainless cookware.

I spend several days on the Internet checking out every body's really

heavy gauge, with steam vent in lids. Was nervous about such a big

expense for a set. It far exceeded my expectations, and that was 6

years ago. Just don't cheap out on heavy gauge. It really makes all

the difference. Take the time, and bookmark all the best sites, and

then compare the best, to pick from.
