Guest guest Posted October 10, 2008 Report Share Posted October 10, 2008 I believe there is no requirement to come back for a check up...ever, if you become sick you should follow up with your PCP. By 6 weeks there is no fear of having a leak, and you should be fully healed up. The whole point of having a sleeve done is that is a one stop surgery and your done. The rest is recovery, weight loss that then leads to you being able to be more active and get more excercise. They found a fill Dr. in Colo Springs that they liked. I am guessing the El Paso Drs. are really El Paso County Drs. from Colorado Springs, if that might be the closest to you. I'm doing really well with my band even though I am traveling again and that usually causes me problems but so far so good!
